You have never proven anything aside from what inbreeding yields....grow a brain. I'm going to perhaps call it a night. I'll let you win cuz you yelled the loudest. You have never proven a thing aside from what I already knew and that's if you corner a dog, in your case, a retard, he might cry, yell and **** himself.

You just go back to berating everything you are too ignorant to understand and I will retire for the night.

Until next time little man.
Ya ya sock puppet, you're awesome.

Uh, back to the topic........... I really enjoyed watching Mr Harper today, he was so relaxed and comfortable and genuinely happy - it was wonderful to see. He was gracious and outgoing in his remarks to the media. I so love that Canada jacket of his - the poor man has absolutely no dress sense but man he isn't afraid to fly our colors. Right on, Stephen. :canada:

Why? He's the f-cking Prince of Darkness. Kiss your nation goodbye. You obviously never grew up in Alberta.

You obviously never heard about the attempt of the KKK to set up shop in Alberta in the early 70's.

That KKK branch manager waltzed into Alberta, and his name was Tearlack Macaphersoin. His demographers told him he would have no problem, yet he was blown off.

Guess why.

Because, Alberta already had right-wing nut-case organizations in place so far insanely into the hate-makes-progress spectrum that the KKK couldn't break in...

And that's who you just voted in. You idiots. Why didn't you talk to anyone from Alberta? You just voted in someone from people too right-wing for the KKK.

You know the saying about how people get the government they deserve?

You who thinks it's cute to have a hateful narrow-educated PM who thinks the way to deal with problems because that's the only way to deal with you when you're being bad???

AUHH!!!!

Our beautiful land just got taken over by neanderthal perfect puppets of super-evil Corporate America.

Therefore there's no reason to stay here.

Dumb, hateful biker psychology. Harper likes hurting situations, like when he voted No against a good proposition when he was High School students council. Normally people only do that if they have been raped as children... or, they could have grown up in the Dutch-reform church.

He's conniving. Perhaps unbeknownst to him, Americans want stability too, and they think he's a hateful, vindictive little nightmare out of something from Shakespeare... the kind of thing who would run around poking little holes in the dyke in order for nobody to notice, until one day it crashes through and Albertans get to see if their way was best, as if beavers don't know what happens when you bust the damn.

But in the mean time Charlie Browns, if you think Uncle Sam is not aware of threats from over-seas, do you want to know how aware he is if of things on his border?

Do you really think Uncle Sam would let a fascist set up north of its border any more than a communist on its border.

I bet you think Harper thinks he's safe being a right-wing nut north of Uncle Sam.

The answer is he's not. He might actually really believe he's part of the equation required to bring for the self-fulfilling prophesy called Armageddon.

All I have to do is how show Iran how to turn its rockets to the moon, and make the deal that Isreal pays for that adventure with all it's talent, ****ing war adverted.

I could get Arab women make lunches Ireali pilots, and I could get Isreali women build lunches for Arab rocket launchers.

Do any of you guys get this?

Did any of you get the education other people in Africa fight was for?

I grew up in Canada and they kept telling me I had to learn French or go to another country to tell anyone this.?

I have ideas for a tonne of English Canada jobs. So big only you are tough enough to do them.

Can you believe that a problem was reported that no women were killed during the takeout of Obama.

**** you Iggy is ambassador to the UN.

In the mean time, we have a situation where education of our kids has slipped stupidly false. Obviously you have not read the immigration manual of Canada in 1900.

I dare Harper to prove he is PM of the nation rather than ...

Thanks Harper, I just sold out to getting paid by China to show them how to colonize the mood without starting what would be for them the first world war but for you would be Armageddon.

You ****s have never prayed and (the music I am listening to..http://tunes.digitalock.com/Augusts_Rhapsody.mp3) notice how many of you resolve into feelings of hatred and fear like neanderthals.

The fact is Canadians gave Harper a majority mandate. Harper doesn't have to listen to the other parties to impose his agenda and any other changes he'd like to make for the next 4 years. The NDP, Libs, Bloc and Green can make all the speeches and demands they want. With a majority, Harper can ignore them. In fact he doesn't even have to be present in Parliament. The news laws and policies will be dictated by Harper and the party whip will keep the Conservative backbenches quiet and compliant.

Predictions:
Canada will remain in Afghanistan for at least another 2 years or more likely Harper's entire term.
Canada will get involved in another war in support of Israeli interests, rather than Canadian interests
Harper will increase significantly military spending while cutting taxes for the wealthy.
The gap between the rich and poor will increase dramatically.
As poor Canadians become more desperate, the crime rate will increase.
Stiffer penalties on drug addicts. Jail time for possession.
Canada will be adopt the Big Oil agenda regarding the environment.
Subsidies for political parties will end. Contribution limits will increase for individuals and corporations.

I hope the Liberals and the NDP merge. Otherwise they will split the vote on the left of center and the Conservatives will get another majority in the next election.

IMO, all Canadian citizens should be allowed to vote. Taxpaying or not. Resident of Canada or elsewhere.

Yes, you caught a flaw in what I stated that I should clarify....

If you are of an age, or in a position, where they can and will collect taxes off you if you work, and you are bound by the laws of the country, you should be able to vote. Actually having worked or paid taxes is not actually what I meant, though it is what I said.

You know, normally when it hits the point of this insulting, I would simply delete your post. But, I'm going to leave it, and simply point out that there are more than one post in here discussing the main reasons people hire politicians to represent them, and you have ignored them to instead pursue the insults. You are ignoring the pertinent discussion to instead fling insults. From this point forward, open a thread to discuss your theories, stop highjacking this one. If there are specific posts from this thread that you'd like to see moved so you can post off them, drop me a line.

Now, the insults stop from all parties, and this highjack side chat will move itself.

Your predictions:

I hope Canada will remain in Afghanistan for at least another 2 years or Harper's entire term. The job is not done........but I sincerely doubt that will happen. We're out after the training mission, is my guess.

Canada has never gone to war for Israel's interests.....this is just nuts.

I hope military spending increases........we need patrol ships and an expanded on-the-ground capability.

The gap between rich and poor might expand........this is a flaw. One of the problems with conservatism......but there will still be a social safety net.

The idea there will be a crime rate increase has no basis in fact.

Drug policy is another flaw in the Conservative platform........but users going to jail?? I doubt it. BTW, iI do think safe injection centres should be shut down.

We will maintain rational environmental rules and regulations.

Subsidies for parties on the basis of vote will end. Thankfully. Corporate donation limits will NOT rise.

I do not want a union on the left,. When the Conservatives overstep their boundaries, I want another centre party to vote for......and the NDP are just ridiculous. I actually wish the Liberals well.

All you people with your dire predictions forget one thing: it is a democracy, and Harper wants to be elected again.

While Harper does have the majority and can do all the things that you are asking here during this term, if he doesn't give some back, it will without a doubt, be the last conservative majority for a while.

You know this.

They can't get cocky or greedy, or they'll be ****ing over their future.

Simple, Karrie, political parties should raise their own funds, not be into the pockets of the tax payers.

While I get what you're saying, it is also one of the only ways that a vote for an underdog can end up 'counting'.

This is one of the things that makes me angriest. Why would you want to see it come to an end?

I do not see why I should be paying out for the Green Party, the Liberal Party, the NDP, or especially the Bloc. Political parties are institutions not part of gov't, and no non-gov't entity should be getting my tax dollars.

I belong to a party. I pay dues and donate. If people wish to come together in a political organization, they should get involved and support it. And not expect the gov't to do it for them.

The danger is that it will put the parties in the pockets of corporate donors, so the logical thing to do is ban any donations by corporate entities, unions, charitable organizations, etc.

Make it so that only individuals can donate to political campaigns, and put a limit of, say, $5000. total per year on individual donations to parties and/or their candidates and/or riding associations.

Canadians who work and live abroad, can pay Canadian taxes, but they can't vote. They should be able to pick a home riding on their income tax form and vote by proxy... provided they file a Canadian tax return. If they live abroad and don't file a tax return, then too bad, they don't get a home riding.

You have just described the law Harper put in place years ago.....except that the personal limit is $1100.

What do you mean they can't vote? The ex-pats I know still vote. One ex-pat doesn't even pay taxes here, but she most certainly votes.

If you are a Canadian citizen, you can vote by special mail-in ballot if you:
• are 18 or older on election day
and
• have a permanent residence in Canada, but are away from your electoral district during the election period
or
• have resided outside Canada for less than five consecutive years (or longer if you meet certain employment-based criteria)

Yep. Thanks to Harper.

As of January 1, 2007, only citizens and permanent residents of Canada can make political donations to registered parties, registered electoral district associations, candidates, nomination contestants and leadership contestants.
Corporations, trade unions and unincorporated associations may no longer make political donations to candidates, registered electoral district associations or nomination contestants of registered parties. The existing prohibition on donations from these organizations to registered parties and leadership contestants of registered parties remains. However, an employer can give an employee who wishes to be a nomination contestant or a candidate a paid leave of absence during an election period, and that leave will not be considered a contribution.
