so would you ever make a life changing move like moving out on your own from your roommates for a woman?

at what point would you do this?

Personal best wishes to you and your wife regarding your move - Australia must be a lovely place to live - I met many Australians in Vancouver and they have a love of life which I envied.

Well I moved to a different country and am pretty much starting my life from scratch. My family, friends and career are all a couple thousand miles away but I was willing to make that trade. I have a great wife, a wonderful step-son and an almost 1 year old little man who I think really is the source of energy that keeps the sun burning We live in a nice house in a really terrific neighbourhood about 30 miles from downtown in a city that has a decent NHL team (not something many Canadians can boast anymore ). The only fly in the ointment is that USCIS is taking their time on my naturalization paperwork so I am going a bit stir crazy at time waiting for a green card and work permit.
