Nah, I have a sneaking hunch there are not all that many really staunch supporters of killing kids. One of the main ones picked up his toys and climbed out of my sand box several weeks ago, so I'm no longer subjected to his rhetoric (bullsh*t) 24/7. Anyway just as well as I don't like arguing anyway. Just speak my opinion and answer questions to back it up. :smile:

It's very simple Durka, abortion is the purposefull killing of a child. Therefore it is murder. Anyone that supports abortion supports murder. The Catholic Church does not set out to molest children. What you are doing is deflecting.

Basically the same rights as a new born baby.

Your new born baby does not have the right to force a woman to breastfeed him/her, force the mothers doctor to draw her blood for its benefit, or force any other physicial condition on the mother. The mother does not have to keep her newborn baby. So basically the same rights means she can choose to deny the newborn (or fetus) access to her physical body.

morning after pill

The discussions today led me to look-up article about 'the morning
after pill', which seems like a good choice after unprotected sex,
to prevent a pregnancy from occuring.

It can be taken up to 72 hours after intercourse.

It is not for everyone, as there could be a allergic reaction,
but seems majority of women could take it.

It would prevent a woman from having to make the decision to abort
, and would prevent
a woman from having to go through with a pregnancy she did not want,
if she did not want to abort, and abortion is a traumatic situation
for a woman, nothing simple at all, but is her decision which way to go,
seems to me the morning after pill would be the answer in most cases.

I have not know anyone who took this pill, so anyone familiar with this
procedure should enlighten all of us.

This is not an abortion pill, but a pregnancy prevention according to the article.
It prevents ovulation, and it prevents fertilization of the egg.

It's time to change the law and make it an offense for anybody to perform an abortion on a healthy baby from inception to birth.

I would like the lifers to explain this.

Lets say you have a new baby and the doctor gives you bad news, that because of a severe digestive problem the baby will only survive on the milk of the mother. This condition will likely fix itself in the next month or two. The babies survival depends on the mother breastfeeding.

If she declines to breastfeed, do you think society has the right to force her to?

Fetus is just that, a blob of tissue. We don't know at what stage it becomes human life, but certainly it is not at conception. That is a religious view, not a scientific view.

I don't see it happening in Canada. Of course, anything is possible in USA.

Unfortunately that is what conservatism is about, Durka. Preaching to the others. And many times conservatives don't practice what they preach, and are exposed and ridiculed as hypocrites.
