I thought Travis was okay for someone who is so unknown he could be ON Idol -- what's with that? Top 3 night.. we get an interloper. Ken Warwick producer guy sucks.
Casey's homecoming made me tear up a little..
watching Idol homecomings make you see how much of a big deal this show still is for the hometowns.

I loved the homecomings, all three of them. It's great that they played Crystal's song.
I thought they would milk Lee's tears even more. He broke down several several times during that show at the race track. And holy hell, that crowd, crazy!

Has anyone else noticed that Gene Wilder singing on the AT&T commercials has a better voice than a lot of the contestants and the guest stars?

Crystal won the coin toss and she chose to go second next week. Only two winners performed first on finale night, Ruben (and it was really close between him and Clay) and Cookk (not close at all). The odds seem to favor Crystal, but it will probably really depend on the performances this time.

Yeah, I'm not sure I understand them, but they're supposed to reflect more what's discussed at one precise moment, what's popular at a precise moment. They supposedly did that so that stuff like "Justin Bieber" couldn't trend 24h a day, 7 days a week... but it was quickly replaced by Bustin Jieber, so heh.
