Tonington opined:

"How about you explain Jack, how being a regular, infrequent, or otherwise listener of Limbaugh has anything to do with the ridiculous attempt by Limbaugh to connect this tragedy with environmentalism?"

Tonigton, please revisit your own post #20.

And while you are reflecting your inconsistenies, ask you soul-mates - you and they know who they are - to answer the question I posed to all of you in my post #41.

To all Limbaugh detractors:

Have you ever listened to his show?
If you did, what radio station?

Or are you just a mindless robot of left-wing American TV?

Who cares what Rush Limbaugh thinks or says? Why do people need to listen any of these idiots (left or right)? They have opinions that aren't worth any more than your own.

So, you don't have an answer. You could have just said so.

The answer of course is that if I tune in everyday, or not at all, has nothing to do with what Limbaugh is doing.

What you think it means though, is less clear.

For people like you who claim they do not care about what Limbaugh says, a whole lot of effort was devoted to claim Limbaugh said something he only questioned.

He's the one that on the radio claiming to know it all. I frankly didn't listen to it because I don't give a crap what he thinks or says. When I want to get opinions I come here and read what you and others have to say because his opinions (and those of left or right talking heads) don't mean much to me.

From what I've seen and heard from right wing talking heads like Limbaugh, I would say that most of their utterances are coming from the opposite end of their anatomy.

The stretch is suggesting a terrorist action without any kind of proof.
Any investigator worth his salt is already investigating that possibility, ...and it wouldn't even make the news unless they find tangible evidence...so if limbaugh's show is forcing them to investigate that possibility....?????

It could be a counter conspiracy. Rush started this just to point fingers at the environmentalists.

Actually, an ad hominem is an argument that takes the form of "person X claims Y, but person X is wrong because they are a bad person (or some other negative quality)".

Only one comes close to an ad hominem, and it's not even a statement, it was a question. So, no, not great, not even examples of ad hominem.
So ...not taking someone seriously because of certain physical abnormalities is not an ad hominen?.........hmmm Okay?

Any investigator worth their salt doesn't hypothesize without evidence either. They wait until they have something before trying to piece together a coherent narrative. Limbaugh already noted that they had sent SWAT to investigate...

I try to listen to all sides...I even listened to Rachel Maddow in the past and two years ago even got a subscription to fox news because with just CNN and NBC I was getting only one side of the story....
You will never learn anything if you put your fingers in your ears and yell nyah nyah nyah when the other side is talking...
The last time I really listened to limbaugh was in the '90s when he had a TV show on cable....He was fun to watch.....Sir Joe kind of reminds me of him....or at least that's the way I picture Joey.....a liberal "Rush limbaugh":lol::lol:

This may be a bit off topic....but how many offshore rigs are there in the Gulf as compared to before Katrina....how many have been rebuilt....and what is the ratio of accidents to operational rigs in existence????????

With that kind of a safety record, it was just a matter of time before something really bad was bound to happen...
When I was involved with safety in the mill someone had devised a formula by which we could almost predict a bad accident was about to happen...

Profit over safety, that's what happens. It's a pattern of reckless behavior that the whole industry will have to answer for. Check out this reading list...

What did I miss in this tread?

Isn't this sort of business practice pretty much the norm?
