So, are the Canadians also a miserable bunch, for electing Liberals to government again and again?

Apparently, you have an unfortunate and deep-seeded learning disability... The statement that I made was that liberals are a miserable bunch.

Good luck in overcoming your reading-comprehension issue.

Actually, for the most part I don't think they are, just a few ignorant ones whose incessant yapping just makes it look that way:lol::lol::lol::lol: Liberals, Conservatives much the same thing.

Gotta agree with you on the above synopsis.

Out of curiosity; have I been recently involved in exchanges with "one of the few"?

the policy of Amerika is the worst so all the presidents who adopt that policy cannot get rid of being called the worst ever.

I notice you carefully avoided answering my question. If Liberals are a miserable bunch according to you, then are Canadians also miserable bunch, since they elect Liberals to power again and again?

Instead of answering the question, you went on a personal attack (which is typical of a conservative, when they lose an argument, they resort to personalities).

So let me try once again. If Liberals are a miserable bunch, then are Canadians also miserable bunch, since in the last 32 years (since 1968 ) they have elected Liberals to power for 19 years?

Not miserable, but the majority seems to be stupid.

You mean just like you?

It only proves the old saying, you can fool some of the people some of the time...is really BS. The Liberals have proven they can fool the majority, the bulk of the time.

As compared to?

Turkey?
Turkey struggles to fight corruption
Turkey Human Rights

Saudi Arabia?
Saudi Arabia - human rights abuses in the name of fighting terrorism | Amnesty International
Saudi Arabia | Human Rights Watch

I think "worst" is a little strong to be throwing at the US. When so many countries around the world can't even afford their people basic human rights.

it isn't Turkey and its principles but the president of Turkey who abuses the rights of his own citizens and isn't able to succeed as he wishes.
when it comes to the America, it does all that corruption to the citizens of other poor Countries in the name of its profits!

Actually, you and gopher are both reading different information. There has been a steady drop in monthly job losses (eventually leading to monthy job gains) since Obama has been President.

Well that is such a rosy way of looking at the 2nd highest unemployment rate in decades. Second only to last November.

So that is how the Libs are calling it?

Hilarious.

of course not.
That's exactly what you just said. You dismissed the issues of human rights abuses in Turkey and Saudi Arabia, by stating the US is worse.

It's all bad. It's only your ideology that makes it ok to place singular blame on one nation, while excusing others.

Second only to last November? So you admit that unemployment is lower today than it was in November, when Bush was in power? A rare admission for a Republican indeed.

Or did you mean November 2009, and not November 2008?

you should know that doctrins and principles of Turkey are contradictory with president's. the policy of Republic is not the same of President's as America's policy is the same of its presidents... i just focus on that point ... when it comes to the human rights there are a lot corruptions from Canada to England as well.

I consider the change from about 750,000 jobs lost nationally in January 2009 to job gains in March 2010 to be quite significant. Implied in your post is that it's not. Those individuals who got jobs last month would disagree with you, I'm sure.

Like I said before in this thread, monthly job losses/gains are a different stat from the unemployment rate. Eventually the unemployment rate is going to follow the monthly job gains and start going down. In fact, the rate has already gone down from a high of 10.2% in Oct. 2009.
(Although, I could make the case the 10.2% was inflated because BLS used normal seasonal adjustments in an abnormal year.)
