What's the fun in that?If I were ever so angry at someone for me to spit on their food, I can guarantee I would not be happy with them not knowing about it, at least after they've eaten it. And if I wasn't so angry as to let them know, then I also wouldn't be angry enough to spit in their food. For me, spitting in food really is a fighting stance, and not for humour. If I'd ever spit in someone's food, I'd find nothing funny in it. It would surely be for vengeance.
Of course it is for vengeance. There's great satisfaction in knowing that they were so stupid as to insult who gives them food. It's like Les says, "Never ever ever piss off the cook". Well the server isn't the cook, but close enough to it. I think it is related to biting the hand that feeds.

This is a very strange sort of racism indeed. I don’t think I have come across his type of racism before. Racists usually think that blacks are inferior, so they want to be served by blacks (since blacks are good only to be janitors, waiters, porters etc.).

In the Southern USA, white racists had no problem being served by blacks. They ‘knew’ that nigg*rs were sub human, sub species and hence good only for the most menial of jobs. Thus most white racists did not have a problem with black servants (black slaves naturally became black servants), black house keepers etc.

But what sort of racism claims that blacks are not suitable even for the most menial of jobs? Under this kind of racism, what jobs should blacks do, if not the job of waiters, janitors etc.? Does this form of racism expect blacks to starve to death? At least the racism in the South accepted that blacks had the right to exist, if only by performing the most menial of tasks.

Many people think it's funny when wait staff / cooks take out their revenge by putting bodily fluids into the food of rude customers. Books have been written about it, all full of funny happenings.

For fun, I thought about how other professions could do this for even more laughs:

-if you're rude to your doctor, she gives you Hepatitis.
-if you're rude to your mechanic, he disables your brakes, so you have a car accident
-if you're rude to a teacher, he gives your kid 'D' marks for the next term
-if you're rude to your housecleaner, they put bodiy fluids into your toothpaste

You've never come across this kind of racism before? A prejudiced person who believes that blacks are dirty, or untrustworthy, etc. is certainly not going to want them near is food now, is he. I guess you could call it total segregationism? The one in the traditional south maybe we could label it hierarchism?

A nameless white British couple is crucifed, sued and based on historical examples, will be surely convicted for hate crimes for an admittedly racist and stupid remark.

Yet, the most racist, most hateful and most despicable merchants of racial hate, Poverty Pimp champions Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are given a free pass. Not to mention pretty well all the rap "artists". Or the weak-spined members of the Congressional Black Caucus, or idiots who claimed that 200,000,000 African slaves were dumped in the Atlantic Ocean.

Please, world, let us get real and stop being so frigging sensitive.

You are probably right, this kind fo racism is even worse than what they had in the South in the old days (and no doubt still have it in places).

But I had not come across this before. In the old days, it was common in the South for white waiters to refuse to serve blacks. But to refuse to be served, that is rare indeed.

Let's not forget that Canada had slavery too at one point, the First Nations got the right to vote only recently, and there continues to be racism across Canada on all sides.

Now, that is just your opinion, isn't it (and maybe that of the teabaggers)? That Rev. Jackson and Sharpton are racists. The world does not see them as such, except maybe the far right.

roflmao I've never even heard of anything like that before. You have a great imagination, Praxius. You should write books.

I figured you'd find that entertaining.

Yeah yeah. You're tough. We get it. lmao

Who said anything about being tough.... I just said "Unpleasant."

Respect/decency is a two way street.

Indeed, but there's also varying levels of each..... as an example, it wouldn't be very balanced if I said I honestly didn't like your customer service and then you take a swing at me.... I'm someone who believes that a conflict should be met in equal fashion.... Words for Words.... fists for fists.

Someone gives you words and you swing at them or even pull a gun just goes to show who's trying to be the "Tough" one in the conflict, whereas the person who decided to get physical is too insecure to take verbal criticism or perhaps even insults and has to resort to physical violence.

In relation, if I get bitched out by a customer over something, personally speaking, if I felt they were way out of line, I'd either get someone else to serve them and then report them to my supervisor for them to deal with the situation.... or I'd dish some words back at them and tell them everything I think about them and their mother..... then probably quit and walk out, since I'd already know I'll be fired soon enough anyways.

But if I resorted to jizzing in someone's food or spitting/otherwise tampering with their food with either my bodily fluids or something else unpleasant, I just stepped up the conflict to being physical and it's no longer verbal.... and I'd see someone being in their full right to respond physically.

Let's not forget that police officers can take you to the ground, arrest and send you off to jail just by spitting on them..... bodily fluids are considered an extension of yourself, and can be considered a physical attack on someone, especially if you're carrying some type of contagious illness..... and as I see it, putting your bodily fluids into someone's food with the intention of them eating it, is the equivalent of spitting in someone's face or tossing your fecal matter at them.

Thus in my opinion, you're the one who stooped to the lower level and whatever is done to you in response to what you did.... you won't get any sympathy from me.

just my opinion of course.

And this is why when a waiter or someone else at the restaurant makes the experience horrible or give me crappy service, they're all going to hear about it, and then I'd leave.

If that sort of atmosphere exists in the place you chose to eat, where insults have to fly, then why would anybody stay and eat there, let alone pay for their food?

Not only would I feel they don't deserve my money, but I probably wouldn't trust the food in the first place, either because someone tossed something in it, or undercooked it, or over cooked it.... etc.

So just simply lay into everybody for the crappy experience and then walk out and eat elsewhere..... then the waiters/cooks can't really spit or jizzle in your soup.

*shrugs* I am not a slouch either.

Customer service is one thing, but when you insult someone because of skin color, it's different.

Well, we all have opinions. You are probably a paleface, so you cannot know how it feels to have someone insult you because you aren't a paleface. I'd take spit in the face any day over that. Spit wipes off.

That's fine, but you have to remember the insult was not from any of that restaurant's staff, it was from some pompass pair of Brits who came to eat.

Not only would I feel they don't deserve my money, but I probably wouldn't trust the food in the first place, either because someone tossed something in it, or undercooked it, or over cooked it.... etc.

You probably don't go to restaurants and start insulting the staff either, though. I think you are a lot better than to do something like that.

If I was the manager, I'd have politely told the Brits they weren't welcome and they should leave. Besides that, it is illegal in Canada to discriminate on the grounds of skin color.

I agree.. that's pretty offensive and even I'd probably get pissed.... but personally speaking, I still wouldn't stoop to distributing my bodily fluids into their food.

Actually I'm of Irish, Scottish and Native heritage, and grew up dealing with plenty of years of people singling me out for having red, curly hair, freckles, and being left handed..... some may not consider that form of superficial attacking and singling out as being similar to racism, but growing up, many made you feel you're still some inferior form of a "Paleface"... Left handed, freckles and red hair all being the sign of the devil, etc. etc....

And to think that I never once had racist comments directed my way for being/looking white is a bit short sighted.

It was a guess. I've never seen you. So, I guess you'd be more upset over being spit on than have your genetics insulted. We are all different.
