Can't argue with that math. Yet the simulation I posted that was put together with skills that are above mine or yours and it was a crash analysis software program rather that an artistic program, little points that that just seem to bounce off you, for one example. That isn't a real big deal to me until your view is classified as the 'intelligent' and my side of the coin is classified as a little beneath you. My background doesn't make me any more qualified to be more than a reader of stuff that interests you. The only proof I can offer as to my mechanical aptitude, in a test I took at a college my score was 99/99 and at that time it was the top score and I have been around mechanical things all my life. You mention right off the bat things, if you want to topple a building you take out a structural member, in the case of a tower you take out a corner at a low floor number that still allows for a whiplash effect at the top, and they would have went over sideways taking out even more buildings
Les would know that from his days on a cat in the bush. Smack a tree that is too big to knock down and the top 20 ft or so can snap off just by that (and the cold weather)
In your pictures the color was coming from the material while it was under heating, the stuff running off the building would be similar to what color it retains after being taken away from the heat, glass becomes clear but taffy-like, most plastics have flames when in a molten state. In the building and your photo's the last one is the one I would choose as being most similar. The photo has some damage to the exterior and it would indicate the damage from the larger portions of the plane would have made most of the floors sag towards the portions destroyed by the plane. That would mean the molten material came from the left of where it was pouring out. That leaves the corner and earlier footage should show a 'raging fire' in the corner itself prior to it being out and only white smoke being visible. The temperature of those flames should also be able to be color coded against known examples.
You just discard the links anyway and my background that I just gave is enough to make me pursue some avenue of investigation that somebody closer to the issue has already gone down.
