You may be on to something there DS.We all know that those who protest the most, that are the most anti religion during such religious holidays are those with the most inner doubts....(They doth protest too much)

I know that Gh, and you know what, they won't remember it when you return in kind elsewhere. So there really is no point to it.
I'm sorry that people have come in here and sh!t on one of your holy days bud.
C'mon guys, it's Easter for crying out loud. Knock off the usual anti Church rhetoric shyte.
but for us, who are not religious, it is not a religious
holiday, but a day of family, dinners, chocolate and big
get togethers, just as Xmas is also.
We can all celebrate in our own way, no doubts, just lots
of enjoyment.
...sigh...
There's been no bashing here (my comment concerning the church isn't bashing by any sane definition). Enough already.
Celebrate all you want--at the very least a well-deserved break and a chance to see people who are usually too busy trying to make ends meet. It'd be nice if there were more official religious holidays that everybody could benefit from.
I'm just saying Easter isn't your run-of-of-the-mill holiday (although many treat it that way); it defines the core principles behind the faith: pity for the destitute and struggle for freedom from oppression. You don't need to be religious to celebrate that.
Glad you had a good time Ron.A great time with Friends & Family, lots of Music and lots of Laughter.
Kids & Dogs running & playing. That's Easter in its current form for me.
Religious significance or not for each one individually, it's a time for all
to get along and live their lives as best they can, being thankful for what
they have and the company that they keep.
...and a spin of the plate like so:
MMMM looks good and next years meal looks like he's having a good time on the ground.;-)
