So you worship a fruit - what about vegetables - are they left of the table of your new found religious beliefs?

That is what God told me Goober, so of course it has to be true. I have mentioned it before, but let me mention it again (maybe you will convert to Applism).

God came to me one night after a thoroughly enjoyable b'bq, where beer flowed freely. He came to me in my sleep, eating an apple. He told me that there is only one Commandment, 'thou shalt eat an apple a day'.

Now, if God tells me that, it has to be true, right? Why did God leave out other fruits and vegetables? Well, why does Christian God and Muslim God regard women as second class citizens? Ask God. That is what a Fundamentalist Mullah or a Fundamentalist preacher will tell you. I tell you the same thing.

Again eating the wrong apple can give you diarrhea of the verbal type. Not all Christians treat women as 2nd class - same with Muslims - Was that an all white BBQ?

I did not say Christians, Goober. I said Christian God (and Bible) that treats women as second class citizen. There is a big difference.

So you state Christain God - I am a Christian i believe in God - Logically then according to you I must treat women as a 2nd class or lower class. If not and I treat women as equals then I do not believe in God.

If not it would then be yourself selecting certain cerses from the bible then? Yes?

And the answer is???????????

I knew it. I thought you were lying about being an atheist from the start.

There's a few people that treat everyone else like second class, though.

You may be like many Christians, they simply ignore some of the verses in the Bible which do not make sense (starting with book of Genesis, where God cursed Eve that Adam will rule over her).

But if you are a Fundamentalist and take everything that Bible says literally, then very likely you do treat women as second class citizens (and hate gays, non Christians etc.)

But if you are like a majority of Christians, you simply ignore the verses which are derogatory to women, to gays, to witches ("thou shalt not suffer a witch to live") and to unbelievers.

A building is a building. People can worship their gods and faeries anywhere. But it is wrong to damage someone else's property.
I believe that we are our own gods and love making as a divine and holy experience. I think temples are a fine place for such activities. I support you 100% in this most sacred enterprise.

Well, ... apple ... , is it?

Yes sir :salute:

Some of the Arab in the pre-Islam "ignorance" period used to make an idol out of dates, when he travels, then when he became hungry he would eat his idol (this is like your apple)

At least there'd be a practical use for a deity that way. My "gods" are food in general, my family, friends, life, etc. lol I enjoy them all and I know they are real.

It's usually wrong to "corrupt" someone else's property.

This is in the Psalms of David, the psalm 11 4-5:

4-May the Lord destroy all deceitful lips, and the tongue that speaks, proud things.
5-Who have said: We will magnify our tongue: our lips are our own. Who is Lord over us?”

They are your brothers.

We are all truly brothers. Our blood is the same color. We are born, live, love and die the same. All life is precious.

Most Muslims I know disgreed with destruction of the Buddhas of Bamyan, for the same reasons why existing buildings on the Temple Mount should also be protected.

Buddhas of Bamyan - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Maybe a Jewish Temple could be built without disturbing these buildings or the people who use them. I am against thoughtlessly destroying our common cultural heritage.

But... as LW observed:
My brother broke my Superman punching bag. Brothers don't always act in your interests ... but they are always brothers

I'd be pissed too!

Damn. And here I thought I was inventing something new with Applism.
