Did you all know that Canada is about to set a record for most gold medals by a host country, a record currently held by the U.S..

They did well. It must have been particularly satisfying for Kevin Martin because he beat the team that knocked him out of the Olympics four years ago.
We have a chance for a few more medals. I don't know if we will get more gold.......except for the gold in men's hockey.....:lol:
I love those pants! I think they would look very posh as a bowling team uniform as well. I only hope to one day have cool pants like those!;-)

Apparently the company responsible for making them is experiencing sales that are "on fire." Good marketing! And, the idea for the pants came from one of the Norwegian curling team members.
They seem to be a great group of guys...they were very gracious in the way they played the game today, and in showing their appreciation for winning silver. Ditto for the Swiss in winning bronze.
He actually almost looked humble. Well I am glad for him but I am even happier for Johnnie "Mo', Mark and Ben, they won the game for Canada and deserve all the adulation coming their way. Thanks for a really exciting game guys. Congratulations on your Gold.
P.S. John Morris is also the first Olympic curler to win gold in both the Junior and Senior categories. Way to go, John!
the norwegians were great sports, could see the writing on
the wall early, and were feeling some joy for martin
before it was over.
We got a bronze in the four-man bobsled, late in the day.
