Absolutely, but I can say with some confidence, that it isn't a collective feeling, nor an American affectation to have done so.

government for the people......by the people.

It is simply a policy shift in this Administration, to distance itself from conflict. Especially with its own woes in South America.

And even if the people had the ability to re-elect Bush, they wouldn't have.

So ya, the people spoke, they wanted a kinder, gentler President. They got it, they certainly didn't know he would begin alienating close allies.

This isn't the first time an elected american president has alienated friends and allies. I still remember "Yer either with us or yer against us".

And I remember this.

YouTube - (former) prime minister jean chretien explains...

Which of course was not said in pain, anger and frustration over being attacked and having 3000+ of your constituents murdered.

Besides that, that was the longest 7 seconds in Canadian history, painful too...

Why would the US interject it self into this and piss off most of off south america?

Fact is, there isn't going to be another war, UK tabloids are running their mouths like usual.

The U.S. was officially neutral during the Falklands war. (except for satellite coverage which Great Briton still has access to.) I wouldn't worry to much about another clash, it would have the same results.

What do you want us to do Gerry, blockade Argentina? Great Briton doesn't need our help with this one, remember were the ones hated by Europe and most of South America.

I seriously wonder if Gh's position would something to the effect of "Look, there go the American's again, sticking their nose in someone elses war", if Obama had endorsed this.

He just hates America and wants everyone else to hate us just as much.

Perhaps he took my advice and is watching The Brady Bunch now.

Of course he would. That is exactly what he would do.

Let's see. The Yanks are broke and are going to get broker because of their commitments in the Middle East. Argentina reminds me of the fly that was crawling up the elephants leg with the intent of rape. I'm sure that the world bank would find all kinds of money, should the Brits be in real trouble, to finance a US backed support of the "mother......" of all nations.

I see the stupid brigade had fun this afternoon.

How about just stating that they support GB in this in whatever capacity GB needs them in.

I seriously wonder if Gh's position would something to the effect of "Look, there go the American's again, sticking their nose in someone elses war", if Obama had endorsed this.

if you seriously wondered about anything you'd end up with a brain Aneurysm.

He just hates America and wants everyone else to hate us just as much.

There ya go...got me figured out, don't ya... refer to my statement at the beginning of this message.

and it would be called work.... do you happen to know what that is?

Of course he would. That is exactly what he would do.

Of course he would.
