Every once in a while those bunch of idiots in Ottawa actually do something that reminds me why I vote Conservative.

This is one of those times where I completely DON'T agree with you...
We're in enough wars that we have no business being in....and Isreal sure doesn't need us.
And I was, in response to the comments tossed off at the first of this thread, very much overstating my position.
I do not expect us to go barreling into any war concerning Israel.......I do expect us to support Israel from afar.......
Me too, the farther away the more supportive I'll become. Their settling of Mars, the ancient homeland, would gain my unreserved support.
Unless its a mutual defense pact, i want nothing to do with it. If israel only wants us to help them, like they expect everyone to do then to hell with them.
There are too many threads discussing Israel, but not enough offering intelligent discussion regarding this important country in the news.
"If Israel is under attack, then Canada is under attack." Is not for rubes. Perhaps Harper knows Canadians very well.
Is Israel a province or territory of Canada? No.
Does a Canadian MP or MLA represent Israel? No.
Are Canadians bombing Palestinians? No.
Do we need a passport to travel to Israel? Yes.
This sort of idea the PM presents could explain why the gov't must put on an endless show for airline travel. Israel is under attack!!! CANADA IS UNDER ATTACK.

Come on, surely you have heard the spin about fighting the war over there so that we don't have to fight "them" over here.
They get so excited when they say that too. Americans said this first of course. Part of a problem of a lack of geographical knolwledge and backward religion.
Funny how so many poor, and poorly shaven guys are such a threat to our way of life. Maybe I'll start dressing more shaggy like to get attention.
