Thay is a stupid comment and you know it.
Thay is? Preview is your friend. But I digress.

Agreed, quite deliberately so. It's no more stupid than some of the things you've said, and as I expected, irony goes right by you and you completely miss the point, which is this: in the context of a discussion like this one, the statement "I don't like killers" is so sweeping a generalization as to be meaningless. Most people are not vegetarian, somebody has to kill the animals they eat if they don't do it themselves, and paying somebody else to do it, as most of us do, doesn't absolve us of responsibility for killing them. So, there must be a very large number of people you don't like essentially for no reason beyond the fact that they eat meat. Unless you're strictly vegetarian yourself--and I note you haven't indicated that you are--you haven't got a leg to stand on, and even if you are, your position is not well thought out.

Actually, if you read "the Secret Life of Plants" you might change your mind. They do have "feelings" that can be measured but not by our senses.
Exactly. I think the very first study done on this issue was the effects of music on plants. They are reactive to lots of things.

I think "The Secret LIfe of Plants" is a bit over the top. I don't, for instance, believe as some have claimed that plants can recognize people who've injured them, or that they respond to being talked to. They don't have the nervous systems that enable other creatures to do such things, but they certainly do respond to environmental conditions, including signaling each other chemically when a parasite or disease is in the neighbourhood. I don't doubt it's possible that they can have some kind of response to sounds, but the research I've seen on that strikes me as being pretty sloppily designed by people who've already formed their conclusions and are looking for evidence to support them. That's not the way to do science. I don't think my lawn objects to being noisily mowed down to 2 inches high every week, it looks a lot healthier when I cut it than it does when I don't.

And proud of it. My lawn looks great. Well, not now of course, it's November on the prairies, things are browning off. But in the summertime...

Last time we priced it it was about $2.80 for a box of 25. I don't think I've ever seen boxes of 20 before. Who makes those? Anyway, the equipment is available and the materials are cheap. Why waste good brass and stuff?
The rifle and sidearm ammo is also reloaded for us. Pays to have friends and swap favors now and then. :)

Challenger.....Canadian Tire brand.
