Indeed I do, EagleSmack. And I don’t see anything wrong with it. Anyway, it is ironic when conservatives like you accuse liberals of racism. And they do it pretty regularly too. For conservatives, anybody who disagrees with them is racist. Indeed, that sums up the conservative policy of reaching out to blacks; they call anybody who disagrees with them a racist.
Most liberals have been called racist by conservatives, and I am sure they wear it as a badge of honour. And conservatives don’t see the absurdity of it. Blacks vote for liberal more than 90%, they utterly reject anything associated with conservatism, including the conservative definition of racism.
What is racist to conservative is not racist to blacks. So when you call me a racist, I am flattered, that tells me that my views on race are just right.

A New York Times op-ed today verges on self-parody, as the biggest cheerleader for Michelle Obama, graphics editor Charles Blow, expresses his adoration for the First lady. He has enough sense to begin with the words, "Forgive me in advance for fawning..." and lives up to the billing:
Meanwhile, our friends at the Canadian Free Press have discovered that Michelle Obama's personal staff now numbers 26, a record, and that doesn't even account for the media claque like Blow, whose soothing assurances do so much to buoy Michelle's spirits. Paul L. Williams writes:

I suppose there are some 3rd world women that see M. Obama as a role model if they are familiar enough with her. Hardly 3rd world women in general, though. Why would some Tibetan lady see her as a role model rather than Machig Lapdron or Woeser? Why would a woman from Chile see her as a role model instead of Conchita Cintron?

In the article many women from around the world echoed the same sentiments as you have Anna, particularly in India. Most of the Indian women were offended by being mentioned that they look up to Michelle when they have so many Indian women that were pioneers in their own rights as opposed to just being the wife of a President.
But we all know that Joey said that Michelle should be looked up to because (in his words) "she is as dark as they come" which is very ignorant and racist.
... or ignorant and bigoted, rather. I agree. I think it's kind of funny that he looks up to the Big O as if the Big O was some kind of god and hence anyone connected to the Big O is also some sort of hallowed being.
I like the lady myself, but to me she's just another human, like her husband.
As I said in my previous post EagleSmack, coming from a racist like you, that is a compliment. According to you most liberals are racist (presumably it includes Obama, Hillary, Nancy Pelosi etc.), and most conservatives are paragons of virtue. Presumably that includes Rush ‘drug addict’ Limbaugh, Joan of Arc, all the Southern white segregationists (they are conservatives after all) etc.
So you put me along with Obama, Hillary, and do not put me in the same category as the drug addict on loan from God, Joan of Arc, or even yourself. Incidentally, I heard that your hero, the drug addict on loan from God was soundly trashed by ‘racist’ blacks for being a ‘non racist' and denied ownership of NFL team. Whatever. The point being is that people don't idolize those who they know little about. They tend to look up to others they can at least partially relate to. To suggest otherwise is pretty shallow and without much thought. Something like a child would do over a cartoon character like Superman or something.
I am not a fan of Rush and have pointed that out on many occassions. In your hopeless pursuit to shake your ignorant and bigotted remarks you revert to making things up and feel that calling me a racist will exonerate you. So sad.

As far as race goes, humans are one race. What Jokey seems to like doing is categorizing anyone that disagrees with him and looks differently than he in a bigoted manner. As if "those people" ("blacks", conservatives, deists and theists, homophobes, right-to-lifers, etc.) aren't quite as human as he is. And all the while being ignorant of the fact (or ignoring) that he's far from perfect himself and seems to be remarkably average. It's hilarious most of the time.
Role models are those that have traits we would like to have for ourselves and in that way, make us want to be improving. They are who we think are morally good. They are inspiring and encouraging. They have weaknesses but give us the impression they know their weaknesses and attempt to change these aspects.
Heroes , on the other hand, are what Jokey seems to be confusing with role models. Heroes are people we know little about but idolize anyway. They almost invariable let us down. Idolizing heroes is related to having a crush on someone.
Anyway, enough profiling for a while.
I have purposely left out the part with him repeatedly calling African-Americans "blacks" because a lot of folk in here call African-Americans "blacks" without knowing that African Americans do not like to be referred to as that. Joey must know that as well but he is a racist at any rate.

Again, your opinion and worth very little. When it comes to racism , conservatives have zero credibility. They call almost every liberal (Obama, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton and so on) racist.
Again, your opinion only, and totality untrue, very few will agree with you (not that it would make any difference even if you were right, a million conservatives calling somebody a racist does not make him so).
Tens of millions (the entire Republican base) has called Obama racist (one of the milder epithets that he has been called), that doesn’t make him a racist.
You don’t have to say anything, blacks (the ultimate authority on racism) consider you to be a racist. Blacks consider conservatism to be against their interest, they consider conservatism to be racist, that is why more than 90% of them routinely vote against a conservative. How many black votes did your man, ‘non racist’ conservative McCain get in the last election? How many did ‘racist’ Obama get?
When it comes to racism, conservatives have zero credibility, and that according to blacks. That is good enough for me. You don’t’ have to say anything specific, your philosophy (conservatism) has been declared racist by blacks.
Anyway, so again, being called racist by you is an honour, a high praise.
