The Healy 3000, priced at just over $3000.00 was, without a doubt, the best crumpet collector on the face of the Earth. The GT-6 wasn't far behind. The Jaguar XKE was also in that category but it cost three times as much so it was a little out of my range at the time.
Great cars Juan.
I have loved the look of the Healy since I was a kid.
The GT 6 not so much.
I would kill to get my hands on an old Healy on the cheap.
It isn't going to happen , I know.
But still a great car.
Smiths Instruments and Lucas electrics and all.
Had a buddy with a Tiger when I was I a kid.
Small-block Ford.
Seem to recall pulling plates in the footwells to reach the back spark plugs and so on.
As to your comments on the Elise.
Great car, I agree.
But lets face it, it's a track day car.
Just like a Caterham Super 7.
Untouchable on a tight track.
But totally impractical on on the street, day to day.
As to your Miata.
Another great little car.
Never owned one but I respect the heck out of them.
I have spent many a track day running a (supposedly)far faster and more expensive car than a Miata.
I learned to respect what a well set up Miata on a tight track can do.
They are seriously quick machines on a tight course.
