Rarely. Newsmedia these days hardly digs into an issue in its entirety. They cherrypick what they research in order to be able to sensationalize a story. It sells better.
That is so true. My own site is considered social media for the niche market I'm in. We often get traditional news media seeking interviews for their stories. It only takes a minute to see they don't really understand the issues but know that if written from a certain angle it will play well for the sensationalists.
Having said that, if traditional news wanted to take full advantage of 911 they would sell the hype of government conspiracy more often. The fact that they don't says a lot about the foundation, or lack of one, for a pre-planned inside job.
