My gripe of the day is 'cleanses'.
While I can understand the allure of some of the cleanses, those that market themselves for long term use strike me as nothing more than cleverly marketed bulemia.
If I were to brag to my friends tomorrow that I'd lost 30 lbs by taking laxatives every day for two months, they'd be appalled and I'd end up booked into a clinic for eating disorders. But, call it a 'cleanse', market it with a sharp logo, and it suddenly becomes healthy? I really don't think so.
