No, Cliffy, i don't. I've been in (girl) strip bars with sports teams, but not in a while. But those would be pretty innocent compared to what goes on in your examples.

You really don't have to use much imagination of how the other 'half' (really 1 or 2%) lives these days, it's plastered all over television sets. You can't get away from it.
So instead of being out in the bushes, you're glued to the tv to watch what you loathe? Weird.

I dunno, I recall porking some chick in a park that I met in a bar.
I've know straight people that have gone to parks and other public places for that. Even found someone doing it in a washroom at the pub I worked at. It was none of my biz so I quietly left.

right back at you. Your homosexual counterparts are in a dark and distorted reflection of heterosexual marriage.. unreal, filled with pretense. It is misery inducing, morally clouded, fantasy ridden, and devoid of grace & purpose. They have nothing but a shallow appearance of a real marriage, without the substance, at great cost to their spiritual and their mortal well being.
wow, you sure seem to know a lot about how married gays' marriages are. Have you got an alter-ego that's gay or something that you know all this? Or are comments like that simply wishful thinking on your part?

The quote is from the Revised Standard Version of the Bible, by the Bible Society of Great Britain, with the original texts as its source. It was printed in the late 19th Century, and many regard it as unsurpassed as the most accessible and accurate English language translation. It is quite reliable.
And still full of nonsense. So? It'd still be full of nonsense if it was written in Mandarin or Martian.

Moses is the conduit, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit (that's God), who penned the first 5 books of the Old Testament.. much as Paul, under the same authority penned the moral codices of the New Testament.

Moses was provided his mission through a burning bush, Paul through a blinding light after being flung from his mount on the road to Damascus (to persecute Christians). You can be sure that these are pure and united expressions of God's will.. not the work of a committee.
That's the whole point. No-one CAN be sure. There is no evidence of any gods, goblins, and gremlins outside the imagination. Your surety is based on wishful thinking.
Anyway, I am waiting to read your explanation why you are judging gays rather than leaving it to your god.

Interesting you should say that. I'm a conduit, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit (that's God), who penned in excess of 3000 posts on Canadian Content forums before my 46th birthday... much as Joey, under the same authority penned the moral codices of the Intellectually Challenged Almanac of the New Pompous Testimonials.
How very droll. lmao

I was provided my mission through a shaved bush, Joey through a blithering pirate (from Penzance) after being flung from his mount on the road to obscurity (to persecute Christians). You can be sure that these are pure and united expressions of God's will... not the work of a committee.

Could you define straight?and situations? Like would getting caught with wife's sister be defined as straight situation?
Straight people call homosexuals gay. Gays call heterosexuals straight. There's a starter for you. :) And no, I won't write x-rated material in here for you.

Well when i can't take any more i go on the internet, and run into you.

& cohort
.

I don't. It's a misnomer for such an unhappy existence.
Well, shuckins, huh, Pilgrim? Most people like me. You just find me objectionable because I am more sensible and less dogmatic than you. Oh yeah, and bisexual, too. Poor you.
Unhappy? See? there you go again purporting to know how gays' lives are. The ones I have known are pretty contented. Something I can say they have in advantage over you, as you seem to be a very unhappy person. Perhaps it isn't everyone else's lives that need fixing, perhaps it's yours.

I didn't say i found you objectionable.. just typical. Sensibility has little value without faith (which is always composed of dogma).

Make your own bed, Anna.. lie in it. Some people i know will compulsively go on doing things that make them profoundly unhappy, out of spite, ideology, fear of something different, even if they're in a rut.. that has little to do with who they really are.

If what you do really makes you happy, then there is nothing i can say that will change that. If it doesn't there is nothing you can say that will make it what it is not.

And yeah.. i consider my life a work in progress.. there's lots i have to fix, but at least i have some kind of road map that takes me beyond the a dead end street called futile gratification.

Sensibility has little value without faith to you, maybe. But you can't speak for everyone.

I do make my own bed, whatever that has to do with anything.
Well, to me those people could get off their behinds and change their life if they aren't happy. Lots of people do. Perhaps they are too lazy?

If what you do really makes you happy, then there is nothing i can say that will change that. If it doesn't there is nothing you can say that will make it what it is not.
Bigotry always makes me a bit sad. Especially when the bigot purports to have faith in a god that seems to love to be judgemental.

And yeah.. i consider my life a work in progress.. there's lots i have to fix, but at least i have some kind of road map that takes me beyond the a dead end street called futile gratification.
How good for you. For me I have no dead ends. None of the things that gratify me are futile. You sure do assume you know how other people are and what their lives are like.

Thats Ok. A good portion of my miss spent youth was X-rated anyway. Mostly just never got caught. There are somethings you really don't want your buds to be able to remind you of like the whale humping that broke the bed and the couch

Uh, sorry to burst your bubble, coldstream, but your Revised Standard Version of the Bible is just that, a version, one more crack at interpertating the bloody thing. A good chunk of Christians deem that the 1611 King James - and only that - is the one true Bible that all good Christian's should have and connect to.

Then there's all those other versions...

So honestly, you can't say for sure which Bible is even the right one, let alone use it as a guide to life.
