No, Pelosi is the most powerful person, Reid not so powerful. This power will and is only breeding more corruption. The sheep are being lead to the slaughter so to speak. ACORN will be the tool that ultimately bankrupts the U.S.

Ironsides, if there is corruption, Democrats will be voted out. That is usually the way, after a few years, corruption sets in.

Thus in 1994 there was plenty of corruption in the Democratic Party, they were defeated. Republicans came to power vowing to clean up Washington and quickly became part of the establishment. By 2006 they were up to their neck in corruption (Tom Delay, Senator Ted Stevens and several more). They were thrown out.

Give Democrats say, ten years on control of Congress and corruption will set in. Thus watch out for 2014 election, assuming Obama is reelected. Second midterms are usually a disaster for the governing party. In addition, corruption will have set in. I would say it is a near certainty that Republicans take control of the Congress in 2014 (assuming Obama is reelected).

The question is, can Republicans take control of the Congress before that. As of now that seems unlikely.

EagleSmack, if you are looking for anything informed and intelligent from the detractors of American Talk Radio in general and Rush Limbaugh in particular, forget it!

These bozoes NEVER ever listened to Limbaugh. They don't live close enough to the American border to pick up an American radio station featuring Limbaugh. They have absolutely no idea what pure unadulterated hatred is, because they never listened to Al Franken, Randi Rhodes, Jenine Garafalo and Ed Shultz on Air America. They are also too cheap to subscribe to HBO and see the garbage spewed forth by human flotsom like Bill Maher. They can refer only to the distant past when Limbaugh was on TV, routinely making well deserved fun of punks like beached whale Teddy Kennedy, Bawney Fwanks and the sex-under-the-desk President, Clinton. They are also too cheap to subscribe to anything on the internet which would enable them to form any valid opinion.

You deal with empty-minded blowhards the best way you can: IGNORE THEM!!

Indeed Yukon, he made fun of punks like little Chelsea Clinton (as she then was). In one of his shows he declared solemnly, “Guess what, folks, now there is a dog in the White House”. Then he displayed a photograph of little Chelsea.

No wonder his TV show was bombed out, short lived, and died a well deserved death (same with Dr. Laura).

SirJosephPorter, be fair, now!!!

Dig up from your archives all the dirt the liberal press heaped upon the twin daughters of George W. Bush. Or for that matter, the wife of George W. Bush.
And let us not forget the most despicable, but most typical and telling, what they said about the MOTHER of George W. Bush.

Then go and reconsider your utter stupidity:

"No wonder his TV show was bombed out, short lived, and died a well deserved death (same with Dr. Laura)."

You and your ilk never saw a TV show of Limbaugh. Or Dr. Laura.

Both Rush Limbaugh and Dr. Laura enjoy listening audiences on radio that Liberal could only dream of.

I used to see the show of drug addict Limbaugh occasionally, it was carried by one of the channels that we get here. I never saw Dr. Laura’s show, but both were practically stillborn.

Somehow the hate, the venom that the right wing hate mongers spew on talk radio doesn’t seem to translate all that well onto television. After tow failures, I don’t think any other hate radio host attempted the transition to TV.

"Who tells Obama what to do???"

Who, indeed?

ACORN, who fradulently registered more black votes than black people in the States.
Talking about a "STOLEN" election! 2000 was nothing compared to thr fraud sprung upon innocent Americans in 2008.

And, of course, the ultimate puppet master, George Soros.

So, the paid off lackey does what he's told. At least previous black leaders, such as Colin Powell, Condolleeza Rice and Clarance Thomas were "house N**ers" for an American. This clown in the White house is beholden to a foreigner.

And, somehow, left-wing hate does not translate to success on radio.

Basically, radio is for people who do not have to see an image, because they are smart enough to perceive an idea without pictures.

Kind of like Charles Dickens and Shakespeare for conservatives, Superman comics for liberals. Verdi and Puccini for conservatives, rock and roll for liberals. Like patriotic Country and western for conservatives and obscenity loaded rap for liberals. Like Chuck Norris for conservatives and child abuser Alec Baldwin for liberals.

Talk radio is far too much for the limited minds of liberals, to whom common sense, sense of humour and self-depracations as foreign as pork and whiskey is to Ahmedinejad.

Conservative talk radio is perfect for someone like your self as you are retired, lonely & angry and the next major milestone in your life is death. Might as well fill in the gaps with the ramblings of a closet KKK Grandmaster.

Not only don't you make any sense but your memory is poor. If you could remember the 2000 election wasn't even settled until a week or so after the voting, whereas Obama won by a decisive margin.

Funny you should phrase it that way!

The only KKK Grand Wizard of any consequence any more is the sitting SEnator for West Virginia, Robert C. Byrd. DemocRAT, needless to say.

And talk about rambling!!! This 90 year old piece of turd can ramble on and nat say anything worthwhile for hours. He should have branded on his forehead with a cow-branding iron: best before 1955.

Yukon, that ‘This 90 year old piece of turd can ramble on and nat say anything worthwhile for hours.’ has been elected and reelected by voters of West Virginia again and again. I don’t know if he is seeking reelection, but if he is, again he is a shoe in to be elected.

Incidentally, same with Nancy Pelosi, she has been reelected many times, and is a show in the next time around. Evidently Americans have more sense that somebody like you.

Your idol, the drug addict on loan from God couldn’t’ get elected to the post of a dog
catcher.

Really, Yukon? Then why didn’t anybody challenge the results in Court? The loony right is fighting in court to declare Obama an illegal alien. If the lawsuit against the election was so slam dunk, why didn’t anybody try to challenge the election in courts?

What you are saying is pure sour grapes, nothing more. Joan of Arc was decisively defeated in the election (and people like you probably thought McCain to be only a figure head, with Joan of Arc the real power behind the throne).

Now one of the major problems within the Obama administration has been mentioned again. President Obama owes a big thanks to these crooks. ACORN is one group that should be investigated thoroughly, they did see to it that many people voted and voted again, they did register dead people (probably saw them also). How such a organization that is obviously doing illegal things is allowed to have so much control over our new so called "changed" Democratic goverment is beyond me.

What they did and are continuing to do is far worse than anything that supposedly happened during the 2000 election.

Ironsides, Judicial Watch is a conservative organization, funded by conservatives, and probably by Republicans. Judicial Watch spent eight years hounding the Clintons when Bill was President.

The organization was remarkably silent when Bush was President (but then what fault can they find with the perfect President?). Now they are active again. I assume they will be hounding Obama for the next four or eight years, as the case may be.

Judicial Watch has zero credibility; it is an extremely partisan, right wing bunch of lawyers.

Would it have been better if Judicial Watch was a extremely partisan, left wing bunch of lawyers, of course not. It doesn't really matter who says what about ACORN, they (ACORN) are still crooked. Just look at the "Fraud map", it list some of their crimes. Wrong is wrong whoever says it.

This statement right here just shows your true inability to reason.

Patronizing and insulting are two different things. So isn't slapping and being mad.

If I was to continuously slap you wouldn't you get mad?

You are also changing the subject, EagleSmack. That is a common enough tactic, if one doesn’t have anything of significance to say about a subject, then change the subject where he does have something of significance to say. Yukon tried the same tactic.

But I am far too old a hand at this to fall for that. First admit that patronizing and insult are two different things, then we will argue whether patronizing leads to insult (I don’t think it does, but that is a separate issue).

So what you are saying here is that you have been proven wrong so you are giving up.

I can't understand why people keep clinging to one party or another as there is very little difference between parties, especially since parties are getting farther and farther away from their original platforms. That is evident just by the number of people you see "crossing the floor", it's getting to the point where they need a traffic light in the middle of the floor. The bastards are mostly in it for themselves, like which party can do the most for me this week?
