Americans did not deserve 9/11. It was a terrible tragedy which killed over 3000 people. But it was used to justify starting an unprovoked war with Iraq which has killed over a million people.
That would be the equivalent of over three hundred 9/11's.
Regarding the torture pictures, Obama pardoned everyone involved. So their release won't lead to justice. America's adversaries would use them to get new recruits.

Yes, news since it became a subject of interest reported on CNN yesterday. I`ll admit I havn`t been following the usual garbage in our media since Bush`s departure but this story did catch my eye hence my outrage and this post showing my disgust for Obamma`s decision.

Unfortunately Jbeee, the US is the biggest kid on the block, our largest trading partner (sadly) and is our neighbour. I doubt they'll be selling and moving anytime soon, so many just wish to get along and live freely until the US believes we need a "Regime change" here.
I understand your concerns over US foriegn policy. To say it's flawed is to say the least. Perhaps if you look up "Manifest Destiny" parts one and two, here at CC. You would get a better perspective of where I sit on US foriegn policy. We don't sit to far apart. I'm just not so vile about it, as you are.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting to see any great change in politicians in the US or Canada in any near future Jbeee. Not until there is a serious uprising of the electorate. When we all, with one common voice stand up and demand to heard and respected, we will see or hear nothing but lip service form our 'leaders'.
