Can someone confirm that there are Canadian citizens who cannot survive without the assistance of American bear hunters? I find this hard to believe and the poster making the claim won't respond.

Word around the ol'water cooler has been that those pesky euro's arent done yet....

They are rallying to come at us for the Bear Hunts we offer to americans.. Polar Bears i understand...

There calling them the $30,000 trophy hunts, its a shame too cause alot of people up north rely on unlce sams money to survive...

Apparently its in humane, well ill take them euros seriously when they all become vegetarians lol, and even then farming plants and not letting them go in the wild is slavery :p

WHAT?? Do Canadians have no sense of being responsible for one's self?? So when you're around the ol' water cooler do you make it clear to Europeans that it's the Americans fault that your conducting bear hunts because Americans pay you for this? Do you make it clear not to blame Canada? Americans make you do this? Is it still possible for the white man to go to darkest Africa and have natives take them on a safari, carrying their food and water?

"alot of people up north rely on unlce sams money to survive..."

WHAT?? Canada can't provide for it's' own citizens? You have people that are so bad off that they can't survive without money from the United States? Don't you have charities in Canada that can help these people who can't survive without money from America?

Talk about passing the buck, keeping your head low, not taking a stand, and let someone else do heavy lifting. As long as you let the European protesters know you're doing it for Americans.

Canada is America's largest trade Partner. America is Canada's
largest trade Partner. There's no mystery here. America injects
much money into the Canadian economy. Canada injects much
money into the American economy. This isn't a Canadian/American
slam dance....this was (I believe) a pointing out that Europe should
mind its own P's&Q's...

Some populations of Polar Bears are endangered, but not all. Some
species of what are called Brown or Black Bears are endangered,
but others are not. This isn't a Canadian/American thing unless you
feel the need to make it one....and it still wouldn't be a
Canadian/American thing...you're looking for something that just
wasn't there.

I'd like to correctly reword that line to correct terms.

Canada is America's largest auto parts and porn trade Partner. America is Canada's auto parts and porn trade largest trade Partner.

Foreigners have to hunt with a certified and registered guide yes.

In New Brunswick, non-residents can buy a resident hunting license (no guide required) if they satisfy BOTH of the following conditions:

1. They were born in NB

2. They own land in NB

American hunters and anglers do indeed dump a lot of cash into Canada.

There are exclusive fly in fishing camps in northern sask that charge $5k per person per week.

It's worth it as the birds get a sweet fat from grain in the fields before heading across the border. They try to make it from Canada to Texas in one hop by flying as high as possible at night after stopping here. The taste difference in the fat after making that night flight becomes bitter and nothing like a grain fed SK honker. It's well worth it get bring home 300lbs of fantastic meat for a US game enthuiast.

I have some cool photos of snow geese flocks numbering in the 100,000s.

There are communities in Sask on the bird flyway that make their nut for the year. US hunters pay $200 a night to stay in fixed up grain bins and thinks it's the coolest thing.
