They are more than assumptions. They are based on the words spoken by, and the actions taken by this coach. I guess that is the difference between us. I tend to delve a little deeper and try to get a better understandings of the issues and people's motivations before I comment on either.
Maybe you should delve a bit deeper then you currently are.
You based your views of our support/non-support on the words spoken by and the actions taken by this coach did you?
Where the hell does he actually state his views on those in here or otherwise in regards to supporting him or not? You're trying to tell me what he is thinking in regards to whether or not we support him, when I have yet to see anything other then him responding to the decision to fire him and what occured in the game.
And you're gonna stand here and play as his representative?
Alright.... I play your little game.... I'll waste my time to "Google" his interviews.....
Hmmmm, all I could find was an email response as follows:
"In response to the statement posted on The Covenant School Web site, I do not agree with the apology or the notion that the Covenant School girls basketball team should feel embarrassed or ashamed," Grimes wrote in the e-mail, according to the newspaper. "We played the game as it was meant to be played. My values and my beliefs would not allow me to run up the score on any opponent, and it will not allow me to apologize for a wide-margin victory when my girls played with honor and integrity."
So other then that, there isn't any other new information that I already haven't heard before.
He and his team played the game as it was meant to be played and he won't apologize for it, and I agreed with that.
So where the hell do you get off telling us that he doesn't agree with our reasons of support?
You have yet to even provide any useful response yet, after being asked multiple times now to do so..... if you're going to shoot your mouth off on something, at least have something to back it up, otherwise have a cup of STFU and go sit in the corner.
Once again, since it's so complicated for your to understand: What magical powers do you have to delve into his mind and dictate to us what he thinks in regards to our support/non-support and why?
..and I'm sure he's pleased.
I don't give a rats ass if he's really pleased or not, and once again, I don't care for your assumptions on what he thinks or feels because you simply don't know wtf he thinks or feels.
In general, no coach in any similar situation should be fired for actually winning a game fairly..... that's it.
Apparently young enough to put up with and to continue this useless argument with you after you clearly dug yourself an even deeper hole in your debate. I guess at my age, I have more important things to do then to waste time proving you wrong, considering you already proved yourself wrong all by yourself..... but I'm still young enough to have a bit of enjoyment at your expense.
