I certainly didn't see the people voting for a coalition...

When you don't have a majority government, that means that the public don't want any one party to have complete control. Thats what a coalition is.

In multi-party democracies its the norm.

If Harper doesn't like it, he should form his own coalition or have won majority.

The majority of the country voted against Harper.

That means there SHOULD be a coalition government. That is how non-two party democracies work.


If Harper wanted to run the place, he should have had a platform that appealed to a majority of the population so he could have gotten a majority government. He did not.


I hope a coalition forms, because that is what the people voted for. How well it does should then help people vote next time.

I'm not sure if voting FOR one party means you voted AGAINST the other, but I do know one thing- I'm against bailing out companies who CEOs are on the receiving end of $millions in performance bonuses.
