For a person of your advanced age Colby, I wouldn't think you would be such a political neophyte. Being naive about the workings of politics is a good thing though. You still have faith in Mom, spot the Dog and that Mulroney really didn't take those millions in a paer bag

Okay, Tyr...Liberal. Listen up......

Large Corporate Donations are illegal.

ps. You probably think Bernard Lord was "a really cool guy", just misunderstood....[/quot

Three points.

1.) I can't stand Mulroney. He is scum and a crook. I joined the Reform Party very early on because of the policies of Lyin' Brian. Today's Conservatives are made up of a majority that, like me, cut Mulroney's political throat, so you needn't bother trying to pin his sins on me.

2.) Mulroney's money grab was personal.....not for the party. Unlike the Liberal sponsorship scandal.....that was a huge success for the party, now wasn't it????? Jean (the Don)Chretien's most impressive acheivement in office was to make that scum Mulroney look like an honest man in comparison.

3.) I don't care about provincial politics.....but I don't think Lord was so bad.......

I guess that's why Harper had Mulroney in as "an advisor" during the last campaign. Pass on some pearls of wisdom perhaps?

The far right fringe Reorm Party was shoretlived and even shorter of coherent policy. They died a quick and painful death under the Conservative putsch

I guess Paul Zed will try to get rid of the mess left by Elsie Wayne who firmly believed in St. John's right to welfare

Ah.....excuse me????

You just can't be correct, can you?

Wrong on every single statement of fact.........

1. Mulroney was NOT an advisor in the last election......he did provide some advice in the 2006 election, but Harper distanced himself from Mulroney quickly after revelations about Mulroney, money, envelopes, and Karl-Hans....

2. The Reform Party, at its peak, had the support of one quarter of voters, considerably more than the NDP.......fringe? I don't think so. Coherent policy? Yep.....a lot of it adopted from under them by the Liberals of the day. AND, BTW, the vast majority of the membership of the current Conservative Party came from the old Reform/CA parties....NOT the PCs. So which party came out on top? Refrm tradition is why the CPC gets most of its cash from small private donations......unlike other party members, we put our money where our mouth is.....

3. The scumball arsehole Paul Zed is no longer an MP.....he lost to the Conservative candidate........

Perhaps in your next post you could get just one thing correct....ya think?

No, you don't.

You're a Liberal.

My tolerance level for moronic Liberal Party members is at an all-time low.

Your the party of "intolerance". Remember, you're a Conservative. Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition... we're going to war.... somewhere

So, I REALLY need an answer to this question........

When the coalition inevitably takes over, and starts shoveling money out of Ottawa to pay off Quebec and the NDP, when the newly re-introduced corporate taxes take effect, forcing companies to fold or lay-off, creating wonderful new crowds of unemployed on EI, and lowering the tax base, when everyone from brain-dead splatter artists to rabid women's groups get back on the public dole, when the coalition morons spend a few billion more bucks trying to steal guns from the law-abiding, and sink a few billion into big "green" plans that acheive nothing.......and when all this puts us into a huge (and inevitable) deficit hole.......

.........will it STILL be Stephen Harper's fault???????????

Just asking........

Lone Wolf;

will it STILL be Stephen Harper's fault???????????

Just asking........ Do you really believe your own propaganda?

People have a hard time blaming Harper as that would insinuate that he had an original thought or even a plan in place.

That would be giving the stevie the "mail clerk" far too much credit.

He does seem to have become quite adept at "flip-flopin"
