If anyone has been following john king and the other cnn election experts for the past few
weeks, the number that has been reached by Obama is pretty close to what they expected
and maybe 'slightly' lower for the senate.
I don't expect Obama, or the people who supported him to think they will reach their goals,
quickly, he has told them 'many many' times, some of their goals will be reached in 1 term,
and others won't, and he has expressed how important it is for 'them' (the people) to do their
part, as he has made it clear that he will be putting forward plans that include the responsibility of 'people' to be responsible, eg. if college hopefuls are expecting the financial
help he has promised, they will have to serve the military in some way, eg. peace corp. etc..
or other volunteer work around the world, with respect to the military, while not having to be
part of the military, and other volunteer work as well. No 'free' handouts, give and take.
He looked tired tonight, but resigned to the fact that he has reached his first goal, but made
it clear that it is onward from here, and the work has just begun.
I was impressed with his acceptance speech, he was a little quieter, a little more presidential,
and, I can't wait for the rest of the world to join him, to make this world a better place.
Congratulations to Barack Obama, you are one of a kind, a beautiful man, and will be a great
leader, and a great president.
