Oct 30 - An effigy of U.S. Republican Sarah Palin hanging by a noose as part of a Halloween display has caused many compaints.
A mannequin dressed to resemble the Alaska governor, Sarah Palin, with her trademark beehive hairdo and glasses, was hung by the neck from the eaves of the home in famously liberal West Hollywood. Authorities have said they will not ask the homeowners to remove the installation and that it is protected under the Freedom of speech act.

Effigies, no matter who, speak to a desire to visit violence upon a person. It is, as clear as day, a threat to that person, and should be treated as such.
And Prax, there is an even more deeply entrenched human trend of violence towards women, than there is of violence towards black people. Men are the leading cause of death for pregnant and recently postnatal women for example. Hanging one or the other (anyone for that matter) in effigy, should be viewed as the same essential message imo.

1st, you should be very aware that I don't follow Christianity and I couldn't give a rats ass about the "Christian" thing.
2nd, I believe women should have equal pay, equal rights, able to vote, and all that other good stuff.
3rd, if Clinton won out over Obama, I'd still support her over McCain or Palin anyday.
4th, her sex has nothing to do with it, her principles of forcing her hypocritical Christian garbage onto everybody else does.
5th, in comparison to the amount of suffering and racial attacks on african americans within the US such as hangings have occured much greater then the amount of white christian females... or males for that matter.... therefore the stigma that comes with that sort of imagry doesn't connect the same way as it does with black people... that was my point.... sorry if that was too complicated for you.

Obama's biological father was a muslim. He met him something like 3 times in his life. Obama is a christian. The right should know that since they were attacking his preacher for weeks.
