There is not much I do fear, as I look at all the fears they are pretty much the
fears we all have on the road of life or we have encountered.
I have had many favorite pets die, I had a child die as a baby, I have had
a bout of bladder cancer got it early and won without serious side effects or
limitations.

I have had a grand child receive a lasting injury due to an auto accident.
My parents died, I have lost jobs, I have had some measure of notoriety
and I have had the specter of losing and being in obscurity for a time before
returning to the public venue of debate.

I have experienced times of considerable financial security and time when I was
nearly broke. The measure is nearly broke. not broke.
I have lost relationships and found new ones.

I look at it this way, every experience on the road of life prepares me for the next
adventure good or bad, so its how you handle each situation that really counts.
If you handle things right adverse experiences can be minimized as you gain
experience in handling different situations.
Now some situations are a pain in the a** but you have to deal with it anyway.
Experience is knowledge in a sense and situations develop both experience and
knowledge so what ever it is bring it on. Do go being afraid deal with it.

They say "adversity builds character".

What would be "True terror" from your point of view then?
I would imagine it to be something along the lines of being a soldier under heavy shelling, hearing the whistling, not knowing whether or not or even when, he was going to die..

That would be true terror in my books, among a few other things.
That is, oddly enough as afraid as a person who has agoraphobia feels. It may seem extremely silly to even consider comparing the two but for the person going through a severe panic anxiety attack, it can and does feel like you are about to die at that very second and you cannot see or hear your "enemy".
