As everyone did in those days. I'm 40 years younger than the Bull and they were still doing it in my time. It wasn't until the 1970s that they really began to smarten up. They used to log right up to creeks past the high water mark and leave logging slash 2' deep over the entire area logged. They'd leave hillsides with nothing to impede the flow of water.

Yes the reason for my post . Funny we actually do most things better these days , but you wouldn't know it from the anti everything crowd .
