Nah, it's Greta, as I said. The blind haters can't get their heads around the fact that other manufacturers make electric cars as well. They're not really concerned about electric cars, they just want something to hate. So, Greta and Tesla.
You are off your rocker .

The Canadian government subsidized the purchase of electric cars here. Both in purchase and continued operation. That is the only way any of them sell. A Bolt for example is around $39 000. More with options. The base is a Spark which sells for under $18000. You can buy a lot of gas for the difference in price. But the Bolt gets you $5000 from the taxpayers.
It doesnt qualify for the subsidy if you get floormats. It has to be bare bones.

How do you plan on charging the battery?
The Aussies have married their battery storage to a wind farm and proven that it works perfectly.

We should do the same on the Island but with the multi billion dollar upgrade to the John Hart we are sort of maxed out on energy generation.

Pretty good idea if there is an excess of power in the green grid, but if it is siphoning off a full grid then it is a fail

It probably would work well with a windfarm since they have proven to be useless on their own. But if the right kind of battery is in the system it could average out the peaks and valleys and make constant power at a regulated feed. That of course would depend on the price of the battery. Still has to bring the price of wind down somewhere close to hydro to be viable.

Buddy is referring to projects that use the 'Tesla Wall' - basically a bunch of laptop batteries in a room that get charged by solar or wind.

Great for a business plan that calls for supplying recharged laptop batteries, but not so good for someone that is in surgery at the local hospital and the lights crap out

It works well enough to render ICE generators obsolete.

It operates at a fantastic savings.

The ICE generation is working perfectly in my cars and truck.
Case in point, I let the vehicle warm for a good 10 minutes to get the cabin all nice and toasty on those days when it's below 0

And it only takes a few gallons of liquid that is plentiful and natural to this planet, who da thunk that was evil, go figure

So you can supply 150kw continuous power in a box the size of a pickup? Anywhere anytime?
you don't seem to understand what we're talking about
as usual
