And a fine excuse it is twila. You should check out the island thread we had happening here awhile back...there were a few islanders around...hey what makes an islander an islander from someone now living as a surrey girl. :wink:

uh........Shopping until 7:00pm rather then 5:00pm,? or...uh......only having to walk 1 block for Indian food/Vietnamese/Japanese/Afghani/Chinese food? or....um.....paying only .68cents a litre on periodically?


And the ability to go to the zoo for the afternoon rather then having to make a weekend of it.

Other then that not a whole heck of a lot.
