Muslims would seem to qualify as the 'lesser' in the verses below and it would be Christians who God will hold to the highest standards and judging by just the last 500 years there will be more Muslims alive for the 1,000 year reign and (false) Christians.
Lu:12:43-49:

whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
Of a truth I say unto you,
that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.
But and if that servant say in his heart,
My lord delayeth his coming;
and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens,
