Lies have been known to cover up ignorance and more lies, but usually the relief liars feel is only temporary. There is an old saying that one catch a liar faster than catching a lame dog.

Imagine, a simple Google search could have prevented total humiliation.

Why do you feel humiliated?

For those who have trouble following a conversation, my comment about Michelin was simply to point out another case of a tire plant(s) that do not have a union, but in this particular case (Michelin), they had the gov't specifically write laws to make it impossible to unionize, which became known as the Michelin laws.

At no time did I think, suggest, or believe that the plant in Napanee was a Michelin plant, I thought that the mention of tire plants and unions was enough of a common thread to follow. However, it seems that some can't follow that. Therefore, we have issued this clarification to prevent certain jacks of all trades from feeling humiliated, and going to bed with hurt feelings.

The following is for Durry. You need to realize that the Mods don't live on the forum, and as such we aren't here to immediately take care of a Reported Post the second it is sent. We have lives to live, and this is the first that we were able to take care of it.

So instead of threatening us by stating that you will start calling other members names how about you show some patience? If you decide to call other members names YOU will be the one getting Infracted for breaking the rules. We don't need you to tell us how to do our jobs. Tax breaks for the oilsands come to mind. If those tax breaks applied to all equally, that would be a different story. But when applied to a specific industry only, that's tantamount to a subsidy.

There are tax CREDITS for all business but resouces have extra costs and risks that other business don't.

Do the regular everyday men and women working in Ft. Crack get the Northern Allowance?

Effective October 1, 2009, a non-bargaining unit employee aka non-union whose work location is north of the 57th parallel of north latitude will be paid a northern allowance of $241.38 for each bi-weekly pay period served. This allowance is not payable to employees who work temporarily in the north and who are on travel status or are receiving any subsistence allowance.

Northern allowance continues while employees are on leave with pay.

WOO HOO an extra $241.38 a month for free during home time when doing 2 weeks on 2 weeks off in the middle of ****ing no-where.

I love the Socialist Cons. Giving free money to non-union people even when they aren't working.
