Are Canada's hospitals full of Haitians??? Not that I noticed.........

Haitains were being evacuated to US hospitals.......not to here. Somewhat of a different situation. Were Haitia of the coast of Nova Scotia, and Halifax hospitals full of Haitian casualties, you can bet the gov't of NS would be howling "Who's gonna pay???"

Lots of countries are doing good work in Haiti.........few are actually filling their hospitals with Haitian casualties.

You don't really believe that do you?

You know very well what would happen Coply.

Bickering about who is helping out Haiti is absolutely ridiculous (and childish). Some countries are in a better position to help. Some countries contribute cash, some contribute goods, some contribute services, some contribute expertise and leadership- and most important none of us actually has an inkling about how much of each is contributed from where. Time to quit the moronic chatter.

Some contribute carrier strike forces. The bulk of those contributions will be found to have been investments.

How many of you have sent a pair of shoes to Haiti? The first thing somebody needs in a quake zone before a meal is a pair a of shoes to walk over glass. How many of you sent your shoes to Trenton?

Why did Slick Willy take time from choosing hookers for the Pt Au Prince Casino project and physically go to Switzerland to ask for money for Haiti?

Looks gooood on TV don't it?

Its called stepping up to the plate and doing what has to be done. And yes, I have donated.

Wasn't directing it personally towards you, just that as far as treating the Haitians outside Haiti, I don't think any country is doing more than the U.S. Those doctors, nurses etc still have to eat and pay bills, hospitals still need supplies. The goverment hasen't reimbursed anyone yet. Yes, lots of countries are treating victims there, but how many other than the U.S. are actually taking victims back to their country for treatment? The U.S. has always been at the plate.

Yep, the tendency is that any problems in the world get blamed on the U.S. People have to get their heads out of the sand. If people think the ilk of Obama, Bush and Clinton are bad, maybe they should take a close look at Mugabee, Kadaffy and that a$$hole that runs N. Korea.

All this talk about who gave what or how much to Haiti is ridiculous. Pretty sure we could make more valid point about how you open a egg. The big question now is how soon should we (all of us) give back the distribution of supplies and running the air and seaport back to a corrupt goverment. Their politics have not changed, and the UN had a troop presence there before the quake.

16,000 was to few to rescue the 3.5 million.
