Hopefully he had a death bed conversion.

And I hope he didn't. I certainly would not want to share heaven with a child-murdering piece of **** like Olson.

I agree with you completely. This man was never going to get out where he could ever hurt anyone again anyway.

But he was still hurting people. He was hurting the families of the victims every time he used his "Faint Hope Clause". I am sure there were other ways he was able to pick at their scabs as well.
