Sadly, we shall never have the opportunity to analyze any ice cores from the north pole.... 2013 erased that potential from ever happening

I went on the Disney Arctic Adventure Cruise in 2014 aboard The Red Nosed Reindeer.
It was heart breaking. Polar bear carcases for as far as the eye could see.
It's a sad world we live in... I'll betcha that someone even went and stole the sunglasses from all those poor bears
The few remaining polar bears were begging for herring from the tourists. Flipper was there too.
My heart breaks on hearing the sad news that the polar bears were reduced to begging for tourist-herring.

The part of the planet where I live is very little if any warmer than it was 55 years ago. Xmas 1962 was the first Xmas in recorded history that was "Green" in Revelstoke and there hasn't been any since.
