Because Syria isn't our only problem with Russia? Just a thought.

Crimea?

That is a tough one. On the one hand, Russia never should have annexed Crimea and should somehow be punished for it. On the other hand, CanadIan politicians should never have publicly cheered the violent occupation of Ukrainian ministry buildings in Kiev, which might have prompted Russia's actions in Crimea, and Crimea did vote to stay with Russia.

It is a complicated one, but would seem a fait accompli.

Nah, it's just a thugocracy.

And you are a citizen of an established thugocracy, holders of the world record of thugocratic imperial adventures so your advise may be subject to suspicion at the very least.

Russia is a wild west democracy like America was in the thirties but they are going
to find their way. We need to be friends with as many nations as possible and once
we get rid of the doom and gloom crowd in Ottawa we will be on the road to healing
and being Canada again. How is it we can afford hundred of millions for shells
and we can't feed the hungry and house the destitute in our midst?
We have a government that cares more about munition factories than we do about
people

Why wouldn't they? They could beat other countries to our precious resources.
But the U.S. would not allow it to happen.

There is a global glut of oil both developed sources and discovered the present arrangment for the past half decade has been to suppress supply and drive up the price this arrangment is coming to an end an the USA can do nothing to stop that except destroy itself trying to cling to the old paradigm. If all it's eggs have been in that basket thus far, too bad, that's the way things go when you don't pay attention.

Multipolarism or Death A good tatoo don't you think?

The Government is not to blame: the people who voted for it are.

I'll give it up if she's cute.

A leader of the caliber of Vladimir Putin is desperately needed in the United States, US political analyst Caleb Maupin underscores, drawing parallels between the Russian leader and American Presidents Abraham Lincoln and Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

Putin has made it perfectly clear to Americans that they have not been recieving the best in Politicians. Which of the sorry lot presently vying for the Presidently position comes closest to the calibre of Vlad Putin? I pick Hillary Clinton. She has the biggest balls of the collection.

But then the idiot journalists goes on to insult Putin by suggesting---

("Another leader of the caliber of Roosevelt, Lincoln, and Putin is desperately needed in the United States," he emphasized.)

Lincoln the man who oversaw the Civil War beginning to bloody end, and Roosevelt who was a controled component of the second world war and let the Navy be attacked at Pearl Harbour. Americans are incapable of selecting a Putin type because of education.

Dubya was a weasily, shifty-eyed, mean-spirited-drunk sort of version of Putin.
