Personally, i like where the greens are going economically, if they move farther towards free-market ideology while still maintaining their green roots i would vote them in.

- Let's face it..You can feed all three heads of the beast, but it all goes to the same body in the end...is it Time for a merger?...or somekinda bankruptcy.?.This way we can see what is really going on with the autosector!...Let's wait till the end of january, before we decide how to tame a beast that is constantly biting the hand that feeds it!!!.Keep in mind, it is always slow around this time of year!,,.Maybe we should only feed 1 head..It shares the same body...Even gives itself awards!lol....Let's wait till after x-mas and tax year is up..Let's see where the auto sector really stands this year!..Maybe it's time to get a better pet..Send the beast to china!

- Unions are redundant..They say it themselves..They are serving no purpose!..Toyota is number one!..Regardless of whether unions are in place or not...How about workers use an open door policy, and discuss with a commitee of trustee's, what workers would like to see in their own industries futures?...Unions are not necessary ,if the employees educate themselves, and are aloud to speak freely !

- $750 billion bailout ..Is stealing from the poor to pay the Mismanaged rich...PERIOD!..

- If banks..and people in the markets didn't see this "Crisis" coming they should all be fired .If market players did see it coming and chose to turn a blind eye..They should be fired...In god we trust..Not in banks and economists playing with numbers!!!. It showed in food and gas prices....Let's check oil prices now...hmmmm...WOW!!!!..Let's check where prices were at mmmm 8 years ago!!?..No ..nobody saw this coming right?...B.S.!!!

- Newfoundland premier Williams..kicks pulp mill otta Canada...???...Good job,, what will replace this company?..Infrastructure?...I am still trying to gather all the info on this issue(not too much around) but 4 now , here's an "Out there" idea...

How about some new green energy initiatives for all to view...?.Some windmills...Water energy, fisheries with underwater viewing station ..All in one area!... Some new trains, touring historical sites, then around new alternative /futuristic energy/entertainment complex!!..Newfoundlands way of the future area!... Fun entertainment ,fishing and tourist spot( sorry like always..Maybe a little a head of myself..lol).....

It is time to change the way we ..as Canadians do business...Your welcome here ,but you got repsect our ways , our people...!..You think you have something to add to this country ....we are willing to give you what you need.....If your comin here to take it all..Give nothing!!...you get notn'..We will share our resources at a fair cost.In a sustainable manner...But it's not free for the sellin or takin!..

The most enjoyed gift for the kids ,I found, was , of course the wii..Great fun for us all !....Another good gift was the digital photo key chain..It was affordable and well recieved...

The worst gift,I found, was a gift originally $29.99.00, "On sale " for $14.99...Real cost.$.7.99 ,anywhere else..This item is for sale, at a place that calls itself Canadian.It was a 2pk of romote control ,big wheel trucks.One truck was modelled after the "Silverado", the other , "Explorer sport".....Moves forward and turns while moving backwards....Well,,,It didn't move backwards at all . Wheels were jammed because of it's cheap design!..Not a good way to attract future buyers!...Gonna take it back get somethin else...This toy reflects all the "Crisis'" we are currently having in the auto and toy sectors..All Sectors!!!...Over priced, cheap rip offs, with no attention to quality or customer satisfaction!..sorry, but it's mostly true!...

Another product I wasn't happy with, were the digital picture frames(not to be confused with the digital keychain)...There are too many different memory cards for the average consumer to sort out...Can be confusing if you're not tech savey..I had to return 2 picture frames ..1 didn't work at all , the other said it took memory sticks... I always make the mistake of calling a" usb flash stick", a "memory stick"..Old bad habit....A "memory stick" is a trademarked sony product...Good name to trade mark...Anyway...Other then the over priced ,cheap gifts I gave and received(..better then a lump of coal I guess.lol.).

.On a good note..One of the places "grandpa" works , left him a HUGE, F1 race track..1:32 scale...like 10ft by 7 feet .For my son...Was a very Thoughtful gift .Everyone enjoyed racing on it!!!..lol....It was great to spend time with friends and family..Enjoyed watching the kids laughing and running around , playing with their presents ( I had a great time opening and setting it all up.!.). after which an afternoon nap was necessary, before an excellent buffet of food.!....All in all ,Was a great Christmas day(also my sons b-day...don't worry, he doesn't get ripped off... We have a party with all his friends at the beginning of the month) lol

A merger will happen eventually..These companies have already amalgamated a long time ago...Call it what you will, but these companies don't compete as much as they all work together...The auto industry is a greedy 3 headed beast...This economic crisis' was fabricated to allow government to give their buddies money..Pay off bad loans!.On falsly inflated markets...1 Big game!....But of course common people know nothing about economics,,so these big economists can get away with all their fraud ,theft, and greed.All under the label "Economic crisis'".Politicians and big business leaders Use our ignorance of economics , to create a crisis' ..then use the newly created digital money to pay off their interests.....or Whatever,,,Ol' business practises are dying and being bought out by new hi tech /i.t/computer companies...Things are changing for the better ..

Green/technology will save our country .If we can pry the power outta the Ol greedy self interested leaders cold dead hands!...New ways will replace the old..The ol ways can be updated and modified..If they are still willingly to learn!

The new year will uncover many bad business practises...People are catching on!

Those who have the money and education to properly utilize the beneifits of the computer will find a new amazing world in cyberspace..The rest will have the option to go more green!

Solar power energy would be the greatest benefit in remote places like out in the middle of nowhere in the cold!

- Huge /free roaming /animal pet parks , where visitors can enjoy animals and the sites while in the most natural setting possible...

Ya took a big risk ..You lost ...Why should others be made to bail you out!?..

Eg...You take your money to the casino..You spend all you have(all you don't have) on a big risk and loose "BIG TIME"...
Why should anyone bail you out?


Don't get caught up in the same liquid lies as days gone by .Not only an unwelcome and crude reality but a very real possibility .
Why are governments bailing out Banks /insurance companies/ Investors and others who suffer from gambling addictions to oil/gas and other greed stricken markets..$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Why is it a different story when the public asks for assitance/safety nets and stimulus that would ensure Shelter/safety/health .. Give all, the hope /the reality of prosperity and happiness in the future...
Balance /sustainablity and effecientcy through Green/technology is one very possible way to weather the storm, and better enjoy the clear, clean days when they happen upon us....

..Are there leaders still Stuck in the view, of the fews, ol' slick and slimey ways?/ In the dirty boys club, playing ol' oil patch games ?.You bet there is !...Some say it's the only way...Do those who invest in oil , fear true competition.?.It's seem as though, it is always ,their way, or no way...Well I say no way!... I have no problem at all with New "Green" infrastructure spending, but, the public should be made aware of where the money is going..
What projects?

We need the info...I wish I could say I trust Baird , Clement, Raitt, Prentise and The Harper" Gang green " group to make the right decisions.., but I don't....I would like to hear from the Canadian Government, exactly what any of them have accomplished so far, on behalf of Canada and Canadians... Not just for themselves and their own interests???...Baird was an environmental minister now in charge of infrastructure?...I am curious to know if he is even qualified for such a job.?..How green is Baird?..

I seem to remember when Casino's were rapidly built(years ago) all over Ontario and across the country ..Politicians promised money would go to the municipalities to help pay for infrastructure.Would employ many,,besides an oversupply of security guards(what do the people upstairs do ?lol) ...

Most employees have been replaced with money machines,( not necessarily a bad thing, but there never seems to be enough beverage attendants around..lol).. ..I happen to live but 40 minutes away from 3 different Casino's and have noticed, although the roads to the Casino's are in good shape, downtown is falling apart...Main roads are so abused by traffic around my area ,that all the ashfault used to fill the pot holes, has fallen out.. Leaving not only bigger holes... But big lumps of tar everywhere...


How can we be confident that our money is going to the right projects?... Not just into more silk lined pockets, never to be seen again.?..There has got to be transparency and accountability for any projects given the go ahead.For anything passed by this government.It is the only way to be certain that our money is being spent properly..Environmental assements help ensure transparentcy and accountability ....


Then all we need are workers who want to "put the shovel in the ground" for $10.00/hr with no long term benefits or security!
- Where is the money going?
- What infrastucture projects?
- What has the Harper government accomplished so far ?
- is the Harper government even qualified to do their jobs properly?
- Are the liberals any better...?
- What jobs will be created for workers?.

1.) Let the waste keep leakin into the river
2.). Stop making isotopes, and loose our place in the isotope business..

Currently Canada makes approx 70% of The worlds isotopes.....and Unfortunatley She is right..

Why has the Canadian government neglected it's duty to protect the safety and health of Canadians?


How can the Canadian government continue to turn a blind eye on a very dangerous , but widely used source of energy... An energy that provides a good business for Canada...There are better ways to make isotopes more effeciently .These ways should've been explored and initiated years ago.....But it would appear ,through shrugged shoulders and casual comments, that we will ultimately, loose our place in this market , as we continue to put the health and saftey of Canadians at risk...

This is not only bad business and hazardous ignorance..But by neglecting new green/technological opportunities and by overlooking safety concerns. We seem to(by Mrs.Raitts ideology) have no choice but to loose or loose..These are unexceptable outcomes...
Is it too late to save this nuclear facility and the work it does?..
.Unfortuantely it would seem as though the answer is yes..I

t is too dangerous to allow this business to continue to run in its current state...I believe it would be in everyones interest to look into a better, more balanced and sustaiable way, of running a dangerous business,such as the nuclear energy business ...Perhaps instead of paving over environmental assessment policies by ignoring/hiding the problems, hoping they won't blow up in everyones face..We need to strengthen the rules that regulate dangerous energies...

What is Canada's waste managment stategy for hazardous waste ...All waste ..Is it working ?


How do we ensure energy facilities are properly maintained, run safely and effeciently?


Just simply bad business ,bad management with dangerous consequences due to lack of action and vision..

Government brings in $6 Billion a year in Lotteries!...WOW!
There's 1 way to stimulate the economy ..More and Bigger Jackpots/Money Prizes!
Where does all the money go?

Apparently The economy can't be in too bad of shape..It would seem as though people are still gambling in the lost/last hope, of trying to "WIN BIG" ,inorder to pay off that bursting debt.

I have always felt that Governments shouldn't be in the Casino/Entertainment business..Should be privately run under fair rules and regulations..

What are the chances of "Winning big" off a government run system addicted to profits?Well ..It is certain, the odds are not stacked in our favour...For the Government, lotteries, gaming and entertainment is a constant Jackpot payout .

In ontario there are way more Casino's then are necessary...If I had my way, I would close down many smaller Casino's .For the most part, to me, they are not entertaining at all.. Crammed/cramped/ packed full of "Big Grumpy Loser's"..(lol.)....

Having said that..Niagra falls is a great entertainment hotspot.....Where else do you have the power ,the wonder, a great marvell of nature.. Mixed with the allure and excitement of good fun and "Big Money "?......AAAhhh ya ...You can smell it in the air..The smell of green is everywhere!...It is the place 2B...4 me..Cuz At least you can enjoy the true awesomeness of "The falls" for free ..after you loose all your money on gambling and entertainment..(lol)...You might as well get the biggest bang for your entertainment $$$ in this "Casino State"...

I've done my own " In field " research study on Government gaming ...The conclusion ,,The odds are stacked against you!...(Not to mention I think the government cheats...although it would be hard to prove it)...(lol)Most people say they don't trust the way government s spend their tax $$$$...Yet a large # of those same people , take the chance risking all their money , at the Government run industry!...Hmmmm ..go figure...
Lotteries and gaming facilities are a win/win for the government ..but ...unfortunatley , far more than not ,a loose/loose for gamers and local business's!(places like niagra/vegas are exceptions)..Be careful ,Drink and game responsibly because sure, the government has no problem helping spend your money on Gamblin and boozin..But will be hard pressed to help you, when your bust ,broke and hungover ..That's when it's no fun at all...and just doesn't seem fair..(boo hoo)

There should be an independent study done on Canada's lottery and gaming industry..People deserve fair play and transparent rules on returns and actual payouts for gamers...

There is way too much secrecy in the government gaming world ..It's time for the lottery and gaming corp, to open the door and allow more independent studies/research ,on regulations, fair pay/play and affect of gambling in this country. . People should have the right to know how the Gaming industry works and where all that money goes?

My E.I. Benefits have ended..There is still about 1 to 2 months left before landscaping season starts again...
I've been applying for jobs everywhere..Can't even get hired in a factory..As much as I hate factory life..I have tryed everything and so far nothing ...

I am a single father trying my best to raise my kid on next to nothing ..If I end up on the street , loose my son..Well I'll have nothing left to loose..

Not only does E.I. not allow enough to live on..At About $1000 a month ..The government never seems to take enough taxes off..If anyone should Know about taxes.You would think it would be the government..
Last year I got $1000 back from income tax..This year I made even less than last, but 4 some reason owe $100 .I usually use that extra tax money to help float me until work starts again.This year I was shocked to find out I owed money ..Like somethings not quite right here..

It's obvious to me the government is aware of this E.I. problem.. Given the fact they are playing games with a bill that would see E.I benefits extended by 5 weeks..About what I would need inorder to make in till spring season starts...I guess we'll Have to wait to see what happens on that one eh..Probably preparing for another election in the spring...
As far as I'm concerned E.I. has become a criminal program . Right up there with tax revenue agency,social services,. Casino's and liquor stores..

E.I. funds are not being used for what they were intented for ..For out of work ..Hard workers...We all know about the huge E.I. surplus ..It is just sad to see how the government misuses these programs and treats hard workers..
It is pretty sad when you gotta call social services inorder to make it till april/may(they refer you to the works program)....Not to mention the fact , I am sure welfare pays more than E.I...probably more than I make working ..(Governments solution to that would probably be to cut welfare.)..

If I only had problems with the government once in a while ..It would be alright ,but every year around this time ..Somethin always happens to cause more grief and headaches ,,. I 'm a green guy trying to live simple..Or to put it better..I Became A green guy to simply try and live .I'm starting to think the government has it in for me because I am green..lol..
Like I've been reasessed by tax revenue 3 times in 5 years.Maybe It's because they're surprised how little I live off .And after 3 reassessments ,Never once was I at fault .Actually one year they had to give me money..Never once an appology..Only more problems...It's Just plain criminal..


Anyway sorry for venting this on you .You know ,Same sob story as others I'm sure.I'm running out of options and sinking fast .I wrote my car off in an accident at the end of last season .. Lost my apartment last year around this time, and have over stayed my welcome at families and friends places.. ..Like I said ..If I end up on the street and loose my kid ..Which is always a very real possibility nowadays ..I will have nothing left to loose..So I am wondering , if there anything I can do, to get assistance till I can get back on my feet?..(if it's still possible).


E.I reffered me to Social Services, Social services Reffered me to a government works program..I left a message ..Been 3 days now noone has returned my call....

I watched the W-5 show on ctv (link above)..Although it was good to see a show that addressed the growing problems with gambling ..It bothered me to see how little of the problems were exposed and even more so, how bias the news show seemed to be on giving proper solutions to this growing problem..Added security always seems to be the solution..This doesn't work...The best way to stop problem, gambling.I am sure most would agree.Is to Take the damn atm machines out!..Period...You take what you are willing to spend..

.......Another similar solution is to have a security person , through one of the hundreds of cameras, watching for people who have been to the atm machine more than twice..At which point security could address the problem......That simple!

I am certain over the next year or so ...Niagra and other casio's will be sold to private firms..The government is beginning to acknowledge that there is a growing problem and so,of course, will wash their hands of the problem soon....
The ontario merger of taxes will allow the federal and provincial governments to sell casion' and charge 13% on the winnings(like buffalo)...After the casino's are sold to amercian investors (more than likely),I believe you will see government groups beginning to get into the gambling problem business..Just a well educated guess....We all like to win but the problem comes when we always loose..

I disagree, gambling (in moderation) like alcohol is fine for people who can handle it. I (so far) have enjoyed it and handled it. Some people spend thousands of dollars on things like fishing charter trips or travelling around the country playing golf. I enjoy taking out a few hundred dollars and spending a couple of days at a casino two or three times a year. I stick to the nickel and dime games for obvious reasons. I realize some people need help with gambling addictions and there are professionals for that but yanking out machines isn't a solution to the problem.

Bring what your willing to spend ...atm's are unnecessary if you go with what you are willing to spend...If a security gaurd sees someone has went to the candy machine more than twice...They are spending more than they should!...at least 70 % of people in casino's live pay check to pay check...Rich people tend not to gamble in casino' .They loose all their money in the market....It's a suckers game...Period...Although You are right ,once in while, 4 fun is fine..But those with the problems tend to be the ones supportin the overkill of casino's ..especially in ont...Addictions cost everyone money in the long run...The people that cause the problems ..need to solve the problems...

How much is the government gonna put into this new auto insurance bank?..

Here's an out there idea(whatdu expect lol)..Perhaps the car companies could give all it's valued employee's cars and trucks for a job well done .(Sell them insurance at the same time) ...Their names could be on their new car our truck as it travelled down the line...Also gives the employee a sense of job security!....

Why not take it a step further?

Give people in general the choice of the car they want to buy..(with options, (hopefully THEY will choose "green " cars) ..then build it!
