"Getting" weird? It's always been weird.
I agree, since Chris doesn't see it the way you claimed he did.

Jason was none to pleased about how Chris's name is being used, to smear the very communities his business relies on.

Would you care to retract those claims now?

wow, sounds like something historical happened here, I'm all ears
Seems the technician that was sent into Kashechewan, doesn't see it like Cannuck claimed he did. Further to that, he's none to pleased that someone was using his name, to slag the very communities his business relies on.

I'm not surprised he would say that? Seems to me, I told you as much.

Further to that, he's none to pleased that someone was using his name, to slag the very communities his business relies on.

If that were in fact true, I'd tell him to complain to the newspapers that covered the story.

Really? Jason emailed me links to news articles that say differently.

They were quite open with me. They know a few of the same people I do. Like the owner/editor of the TANSI newspaper.

Still want to hang on to that position?

Why don't you sleep on it. I'm off to bed, so you have some time to think about.

No, I think that would be Duceppe… GIMME,GIMME!!!!

oldrebel YAY!! Your comments... I do give you lots of thumbs up.. Your post is right on..

“Retired_Can_Soldier… Canadian Alliance? How old is this thread.”
Cranky made a bit of a mistake.. He, well, sort of, admitted to it…..
Perhaps not reading articles, or keeping up to date...

Partisan squabbling and hurling insults doesn't faze me. The fact is that both parties have done some incredibley awful things in the past and for one to condemn and accuse the other is simply the pot calling the kettle black.
I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Harper and his lovely wife back before he was elected, and I was favourably impressed. What I noticed was that Harper makes eye contact with, and listens to whomever he is talking with. There is an aura of integrity and truth about him that I have never sensed in any other politician.
I think Harper has done a good job considering what he has to deal with. He hasn't been able to keep some of his promises because the opposition has blocked him at every opportunity. Not because his plans were bad, but because the opposition is so greedy for power that they will do anything to get their way. They don't care what is good for the people of Canada - only about their own self aggrandization!
It's too soon after the Liberal Adscam and Shawinigate scandals for me to even consider them. Add to that the Liberal arrogance and sense of entitlement that they continue to exhibit, and Ignatieff's abrasiveness, I hope they get crushed in this election.
I also hope Harper gets the majority he asks for this time. Otherwise we will end up with election after election and threats of a coalition and nothing worthwhile getting done in the meantime.

Actually, the smartest thing the opponents of Stephen Harper could do would be to ensure that he and the Conservatives get a majority.

History shows that when given enough rope, majority governments never (well, hardly ever) fail to hang themselves.

Remember the total annihilation that followed Mulrooney's two majority governments?
