Well besides the obvious one.

But even the Star gloomily admits they likely won't get enacted........

Some Ontario Liberal activists are calling for an end to public funding of Catholic schools, improvements to the recognition of foreign professional credentials, and a boost to children’s mental health services.

In a non-binding online policy-making exercise — known as “Common Ground” — launched by the governing party last weekend, those three ideas have the greatest support.

While amalgamating schools under one non-secular board is always popular fodder for such internet policy appeals, it would require a constitutional amendment to end publicly funded Catholic education in Ontario.

Patrick Brown’s Progressive Conservatives are also doing an online survey of members for policy ideas.

Well we certainly need higher hydro bills. Oh, and we need more corruption, less transparency and less accountability in govt. We also need to increase cash for access opportunities and more cronyism.

Oh wait a second, I thought that sounded familiar. Those have been their policies since the McFlinty days.

Oh, and we definitely need to cut public funding to Catholic schools. The govt will need it to continue funding islamic instruction and indoctrination in our public schools.

You lost me in the third paragraph. It was the Tories who wanted to fund all religious education and made it a platform promise and it was the Liberals who killed the idea and won the election as a result.

Yep, but I think you may have missed the point. The Liberals want to kill public funding to Catholic schools, ostensibly because of religion and which I have absolutely no problem with, and yet insist that islamic instruction must not only be permitted but accepted in our public schools.

Religious instruction does not belong in our public schools, period. They are halls of learning, not halls of stone age fairy tales and superstitious nonsense.
