In an interview with CBC, engineer Tom Rand claims investing in green enterprises and renewable energy technologies through green bonds would enable Canadians to do something to reduce carbon emissions. Something that would go beyond just "changing a light bulb."
Read the full interview.
The proposed bonds would function in a similar way to Canada Savings Bonds, allowing the public to back green ventures.
If made available in Canada, would you buy green bonds?

I think I'd be as skeptical of them as I am the other ways private interests and government are trying to capitalize on stemming the tides. Being environmentally conscious is one thing. Believing one can halt a natural Earth cycle is another.

The markets are very volitile/risky/corrupt and in the process of crashing. Billions and billions and billions will go down the tubes the rest will go to the elites. Green bonds will save nothing especially the capitalist pig dogs. Al Gore can stuff his plan where the sun don't shine. Do you know they gave that piece of green slime a Nobel peace prize?
