How many of these mayors are experts on Earth's climate?
Thank God that Boris Johnson, the mayor of the world's greatest city, has more sense and doesn't believe all that global warming nonsense. He also refused to meet the Pope a few days ago and to even join these 50 mayors in their "climate change" discussion, saying he was "too busy."

Low priority? Boris has committed to 60% reduction of London’s carbon emissions by 2025
Boris Johnson was today accused of “snubbing” the Pope as he failed to join 50 leading mayors and governors from around the world at a two-day
climate change meeting in Rome.
The Mayor of London’s office confirmed that Mr Johnson was invited to attend the summit but added: “He is just really busy at the moment.”
Pope Francis has taken an outspoken stance on global warming and called a major two-day conference on tackling the problem which started today.
Leading politicians due to attend include New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, California Governor Jerry Brown and Rio de Janeiro Mayor Eduardo Paes, as well as mayors from Paris, Madrid, Johannesburg and Oslo.

But
Mr Johnson, who is also the new MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip in west London, turned down the Papal offer in order to instead attend a City Hall panel on policing as well as carry out “various” House of Commons commitments, his office told the Mirror.
Baroness Jenny Jones, London Assembly member for the Green Party, said: “It’s a real shame that Boris couldn’t make time in his schedule to join mayors from around the world in meeting the Pope to discuss climate change.
“Cities like London must be part of the solution in the fight against climate change.
"Boris knows that that by truly investing in the fight against climate change he could significantly change London for the better – by reducing air pollution, creating jobs in clean tech and keeping homes warm - yet this snub suggests that his priorities lie elsewhere.
“Once again climate change seems to have slipped right down
the Tories’ agenda.”
The Mayor has committed to a 60% reduction of London’s carbon emissions by 2025.
But he was recently criticised for rejecting a call from the London Assembly for City Hall’s £4.8bn London Pensions Fund Authority to move away from investments in fossil fuels.

In 2013, Mr Johnson was accused of using his £275,000 a year column in the Daily Telegraph to express support for climate change sceptics.
He said he had an “open mind” on whether the UK was about to enter a “mini ice-age”, adding: “Something appears to be up with our winter weather, and to call it 'warming' is obviously to strain the language.”
A City Hall spokesperson later added: “The Mayor was unable to attend the Vatican’s events this week due to diary constraints.
“He is however delighted that the Vatican is highlighting the issues of climate change and modern slavery, and congratulates Pope Francis on his initiatives in this area.
“Addressing the challenge of climate change is one of the Mayor’s key priorities and he has led the world in city-based efforts to reduce emissions, including his announcement of an Ultra-Low Emissions Zone in central London to be introduced in 2020.”
The only UK mayors present at the conference today were Bristol mayor George Ferguson and Manchester mayor Tony Lloyd.
