Not counting the times I've travelled through it by train, I think I've only ever been there once to actually see the sights. I think it was 1998. I remember seeing Harrods and going down Oxford Street, Europe's busiest shopping street, which was so jam-packed with people you could hardly see the pavements.

I haven't been to London in a long, long time.. but had a great time there on the visits i have managed. Stayed in Earl's Court.. in a funky, comfy.. and cheap hotel (it's probably not the case now).

The area was filled with pubs, and Australian expats.. very lively. And i did manage ot get out for some high brow stuff on occasion.. museums, galleries, concerts.

The only problems i had with the place was the warm beer, incomprehensible street layout.. and nearly getting killed by looking the wrong way when i crossed a street. They all drive on the wrong side of the road there.

As for 'Cultural Capital of the World'. That's debatable.. New York's got the money. And culture always follows the money.

London beats New York hands down for culture. It's got much better museums and the best theatre in the world. It's got the royals and all the royal pomp and ceremony. Not to mention much more history than New York.

Also, according to this year's Sunday Times Rich List, London has more billionaires than any other city in the world. It has 80 billionaires, well ahead of second-placed New York with 56.

Also, Inner London West is the richest place on Earth, with a per capita GDP (PPP) of $152,116. New York City's GDP per capita (PPP) is $47,466, which puts it just behind Inner London East and Berkshire in terms of wealth.

Wow. How small does your cock have to be to need that much compensation?

The best thing about London is the unexploded bombs they couldn't be bothered to clean up for three generations.

Tecumseh's Boner is obviously a little peeved that he's driving around in a rusty 1975 Trabant that he bought for $50 from his neighbour Mike.
