yes the Europeans do many things differently with their food...we have drank the cool aide

What do Europeans for with their kool aid? Do they make into a sauce and drizzle over duck?

no I did not say anything about Europeans and their cool aide use with food, rather, it is a term used to denote behaviour:

The phrase derives from the November 1978 Jonestown deaths, where members of the Peoples Temple, who were followers of the Reverend Jim Jones committed suicide by drinking a mixture of a powdered soft drink flavoring agent laced with cyanide.

Size of the backyard doesn't seem to be a factor.

It's a mental block where some seem to equate 'different' with 'wrong', while it's not. It's just different. Lol.

Plus there are way more important things to argue over
.
Like being a little horsed when being eaten?

My grandma had a small farmlet and her hens (esp the Rhode Island Reds) provided good, wholesome eggs. Grandma never washed them and there never was any health issue. Still, I prefer that they be refrigerated as they are transported over a long period of time and great distances - you never know what contaminants they might pick up along the way to the market.

We had some Rhode Island Reds once. Bout 8. No rooster.
Found they were a nice quiet hen which produced well.
Force of habit, we "washed" the eggs, then ate them.
num goddam num.

For commies they did good...........;-)

how about fried egg sammiches on sour dough with a few bacon bits and cheese set under the broiler for 30 seconds to melt the cheese and sizzle the bacon bits?

that's what I am leaning toward...you bring the wine Barty

Europeans do not shop in the same way we do. They shop daily, therefore no need for a monster sized fridge..also they are lean unlike us and do not require humungo portions and the storage of such

I do not use half of my fridge space and prefer to shop more frequently

EH ?...........Lean ! Catch an Octoberfest sometime. Check out photos of the Kaiser and his family.

There's a reason the Dutch wore wooden shoes. Nothing else held up.

Right, lean Italians...........

Shopping every day would be a drag, but save a lot on hydro, eh 8O

Hell, I could become "lean".;-)
Already mean
