The Prince of Wales in Philadelphia, known for the city King of Prussia named after Frederick the Great.

The Prussian Pickelhaube is still part of the parade/ceremonial uniform of the Life Guards (Swedish Army); the Portuguese National Republican Guard; the Military Academies of Chile, Colombia, Venezuela and Ecuador; the Army Band of Chile; and the Presidential Guard Battalion of Colombia. Traffic police in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan also use a form of the Pickelhaube. The modern Romania Gendarmerie (Jandarmeria Romana) maintain a mounted detachment who wear a white plumed Pickelhaube of a model dating from the late 19th century, as part of their ceremonial uniform.

Also, the British Household Calvary wears the Prussian Pickelhaube. (Doesn't mean they are Prussian, but why do they wear the Prussian uniforms?) I know the King's Own Hussars bear the Prussian Eagle though of the British Commonwealth. Hmm... Maybe they ARE a Prussian dedication?

Even the Swedish Life Guards.

ps. Did you catch the Prussian Pickelhaube from the Military Academies of Chile, Colombia, Venezuela and Ecuador; the Army Band of Chile; and the Presidential Guard Battalion of Colombia in the Americas?

No. And I'm not a dumb 4 year term President either. Remember, we are in it for life.

Re: “His Majesty”

Oh dear...

Alright sweetie, Winnipeg10, we apparently have some delusions to work past here. Siddown and grab a Coke or something, you’re going to be laying on that couch there for at least a couple of hours. The only sovereign that exists in North America is Her Majesty The Queen of Canada, but let it be noted that your confusion is cute (if a tad sad). I saw an episode of House recently (season premiere, anyone?) that seems to suit your story just about perfectly.

Here’s what I want you to do, “Your [cough] Majesty” —

These are the steps you need to take to restore the Prussian kingdom to its former glory:

  • Hold down the Alt key on your keyboard.
  • Press the F4 key at the same time.
Monarch of a wet cardboard box on the outskirts of Winnipeg, perhaps.

So, we ask politely to the U.S. to refrain from using the term America when acknowledging Prussia as a nation in these lands.

ps. this is my job, I do this as an occupation. Your cooperation is greatly appreaciated. :)

Sooo.....is this a full-time job? Is it lucrative? Do you still need a day-job at
this point in your reign? 8O Would it be a huge conflict if you worked over at
the "BurgerKing" or the "DairyQueen?"

Let me just laugh, because "it's not if you believe in God that he exists, it's if God believes in you that he exists." and last time I checked Christ was only lord.

Which is one of the reasons for King Fernidad's Holy League of Prussia.

When the Prussians conquered every continental state
in Prussia in the 16th century and then was renamed America by the
United States, Prussia was one land, now divided as North America and
South America, we see an increase in American influence by the United
States, but the reality of Prussia is still alive, and remains with
our people and culture.

Are you saying that North and South America is actually Prussia? Should be called Prussia?

Now, as Prussia's culture is on the rise again as with our continent,
we find more of our heritage all around us, with our Picklehaubes in
the south and our Hussars in the north, the Kingdom of Prussia truly
is here to stay.

I didn't think those silly pointy hats had a name.

Now, as the new sovereign of Prussia, I King Fernidad encourage you
all to take pride in our land which has evolved for centuries and will
continue to evolve as a nation as a people and as our Kingdom.

The problem is the American influence on Prussia, which I feel is a
problem which all of us can fix if we would speak up for our continent
and let the word go around that as we do not attempt to rename Prussia
into America as we will not loose our nation to the U.S.

Define the Prussian nation.

My question is that why does the U.S. try to change the Kingdom of Prussia into America? (the Americas)

That's just how we do it baby!

Kind regards,
His Majesty the King of Prussia, Kaiser Fernidad III of Germany and
Great Pasha of the Ottoman Empire and Egypt

I mean Your Majesty.

My point is, they can't keep calling Prussia "America", as we has it first, and I mean in it's whole form, country by country in the 16th Century, now the U.S. is calling the continent North America and South America, when Prussia came before it.

We just want Prussia back and as King of Prussia, I am obligated to ask.

You can ask all you want, but I think if you want to 'take back' all of the Americas, you're going to need one big-ass army.

Good luck with that, buddy.

And by the way - if your name is Fernidad, why did you name your son Ferdinand?

Family thing. Confuses the witnesses y'know....

If you really want to hit an American where it hurts, declare yourself Bavarian and go into a beer commercial....

Say, now.... If you're connected with the Ottomans, are you sure you're not mixing American with Armenian?

If you look at history's lesson and the Prussian colonization of the 16th century and prior into 'what is now turning into N and S America' you will find that Prussia was these lands long before the U.S. called the continent N and S America, after their country.

This map does not include the smaller of the over 650 Prussian colonies worldwide included in every country in the Americas such as King of Prussia, Pennsylvania and New Prussia, Ontario Canada for example.

"you will find that Prussia was these lands long before the U.S. called the continent N and S America, after their country."

So, basically we would like the U.S. to stop overlaying N and S America over Prussia.
