Why are tea baggers white?

I didn't know what teabagging was. I guess I've lived a sheltered life....good thing...:roll:

I think the expression ‘tea bagging’ was used by a CNN reporter to describe those who attended the tea parties. The tea party attendees were furious about it. So yes, they do know what tea bagging is.
As to why tea baggers are predominantly white, they represent the Republican base, and Republican base is overwhelmingly white, male and old. And that really is a problem for republicans. Unless they can diversify, get more minorities into their party they face a bleak future.

But then again, you may have some sort of non accepted definition of "overwhelmingly"...

With 40% of whites and only 2% of Blacks voting Republican, I fail to see how SirJoseph is wrong about the Republican base being white conservatives.

40% is not overwhelming, considered 44% of whites are Democrats. Further, 29% of the GOP base is 18 to 29, 35% is 30 to 44, and women make up 31% of those figures. So again I say, unless SJP is using some bastardized unaccepted definition of "overwhelming", again, he is wrong. But I'm sure he, as you have, will use semantics to avoid admitting an exaggeration induced error.
BTW, he qualified his assertion with "and", perhaps if you spent a little more time thinking for yourself, you might be able to see things more objectively.

I couldn't give a crap about politics or anybody's opinion of it. What I fail to understand is someone's blind hatred of someone they never met.
Cut him some slack, Cliff, he probably just woke up in a sh*tty mood. One of the problems when some political party "owns" you, you tend to follow them right over the precipace, there is a tiny bit of truth in what he says, I think there are some cons. from all walks of life, but a lot of them are Bible thumpers for sure.

Are you insinuating I hate Joey? If so, your insinuation is erroneous. I don't hate Joey, I think his posts are fun to play with. His posts, so teeming with pomposity and extreme views, based solely on a tenuous grip on reality.
His posts offer me such entertaining opportunities to expose their culmination limited critical thought, cognitive skills and objectivity. Why would I hate him or his posts?

This is constructive criticism you're getting here. If you wish to be taken seriously, try using your own thoughts for a change, let Joey stand on his own and stop turning every thread he gets schooled in, into a save the Joey foundation event.
