I wouldn't jump to conclusions with this guy.

Anyway, as I have mentioned above (I think), both "parties", as it were, tend to have the same amount of animosity toward one another, although perhaps expressed through separate media. I would assert, perhaps, that more left-wing parties tend to express their anger or disagreement with their right-wing counterparts through conferences, assemblies and protests; however, I would argue that, in my experience at least, right-wing parties and supporters tend to express their anger and disagreement through less official channels (such as accusing left-wing persons to be treasonous).

No it isn't, and even if it were you obviously can't tell fact from fiction...you wouldn't be the one we would look too to tell us who is what, anywhere, anytime.

Yes it is, the quote i showed you proved how rascist and irrelevent she is.The rest of your opinion is just BS.

Perhaps it would be more appropriate to return to the topic at hand, and to discontinue questioning the competence, in whatever capacity or manner may be occuring here, of others in the membership of Canadian Content.

 Returning to the Topic at Hand

I think that we should recognize the persons on both sides of the spectrum have tended to express themselves in a manner which is inappropriate in terms of incorporating hatred into their messages; there is onus on both right-wing, and left-wing persons to ensure that this sort of behaviour does not continue into the next generation.

I don't really think hate is something humanity is going to suddenly shed. It's a nice idea, but that's about it.

Jay, I am not trying to say that left-wing and right-wing parties should merge, or cease their opposition to one another — however, we should attempt to be more civil in terms of discussions with one another.

"If liberals were prevented from ever again calling Republicans dumb, they would be robbed of half their arguments. To be sure, they would still have "racist," "fascist," "homophobe," "ugly," and a few other highly nuanced arguments in the quiver. But the loss of "dumb" would nearly cripple them." -- Ann Coulter

I don't think I have ever used that term.

And from the quotes and arguments I have heard from Ms. Ann Coulter, it would appear that a majority of her criticisms of the "other party" are based on insults and slander.

It doesn't suprise me you feel that way.

Jay, when have I ever, as a left-wing person, accused anyone on this forum of racism, homophobia, fascism, or anything of the like, without just and due cause? I don't think I have, and I would be quite suprised if it were to be proven otherwise. Would you deny that the quote of Ms. Ann Coulter, above, is intended to be insulting?

Who hates the most?

Easy: right wingers.

As a centrist, I dispute issues with members of both sides of the political fence. Usually libs are thoughtful and make their points with reason. The only time I've ever had any angry remarks made by them is when I take the pro-life side on the abortion issue [and this only from feminists, not from libs in general].

But right wingers are almost always hostile in their replies because their arguments lack rationality.

I respect the right of everyone to harbor their own beliefs. But it would be nice if people learned to express themselves with dignity and reason, rather than anger and hostility as right wingers do so often.
