Really, so Charlie Pride, Darius Rucker, and Henry Cho are just "cultural tourists" in the Grand Ole Opry.
America is a tribal country. The groups I mentioned were created by different types of white people to celebrate their unique cultures. Non-whites who participate with those organizations are either cultural tourists or whitewashed Uncle Toms. Kwaanza and Juneteenth are for African Americans. Lunar New Year celebrations are for East Asian Americans. Eid is for Muslim Americans.
