Only if we create it and it is used as investment.

Yes I didn't say all services.

Let's start with the important ones like healthcare, day care and education.

Ouch. The NDP won't like to read that. They'd be saying let's start with expanding French services in Vancouver and English services in Quebec City, and increse funding to the CBC even though CTV provides almost the exact same service, and let's nationalise more healthcare even though the best systems in the world are two-tiered, etc. etc. etc.

My my my, to focus on bread-and-butter socialism makes you a traitor to the cause.

I fully agree with healthcare and education!

Why health care and education when you can spend it on Heritage Canada and the CBCinstead? :)

National media is important too.

The news part of CBC is much better than private outlets like Globe and Mail or National Post.

Can you give an example?

Also, do you realise just how different the CBC/SRC coverage is in English and French? I read both and they are just as different in their coverage from one another as they are from other outlets. Why is that? Each media will cover different things and the CBC is no different from the rest in any way.

Also, are you aware that we have media coverage in other languages too that the CBS just does not cover? I read some of it myself.

I don't basically have a problem with C.B.C. (apart from going a little overboard on the G.B.L.T. business) they provide fairly accurate news coverage and a few programs of interest to the average consumer.

The best part of GBLT is the Greens, the Lettuce, and the Tomato. The Bacon is very unhealthy.

He's not being silly. Other than a moderate wealth tax, all tax ought to be a sin tax. That way it kills two birds with one stone. It provides revenue and promotes good behaviour.

No use arguing with imbeciles...........................do what I do, put them on ignore!

A little off topic :) :) :) but bacon is very healthy if eaten once a week and cooked to a crisp.

Don't know about G & M but N.P. can lean a little toward the histrionics, but it makes interesting reading. :) :)
