Apply for a temporary work permit they are super easy to get, when you arrive, do the full immigration application, return home and apply for another temporary work permit and keep do doing that until full immigration is approved.

Applying for a work permit isnt east at all. He needs to find an empolyer that has a positive LMO and believes in his skills and qualifications as well

Hey Bella12, no the titanic never came. The Canadian embassy along with every other embassy has closed in Syria because of the war. Also the airports are all suspended now. And the money is going down, so I think I'm quite stuck here in Syria for the time being until further notice, unfortunately.

What I know is either you have to pay for the immigration papers and wait about a year or so to pass. Or you need miracle for someone or some party to pull you from Canada out of your country, which is unlikely.
I've been trying a lot with the second option, I've sent hundreds of resumes. No use so far. And the first option I can't afford at the moment.

If you know something I don't please share.

But i honestly think Canada is a better option but a tough one. Why dont you visit Jordan or Lebanon and apply from there..If you dont mind me asking..What is your degree?

You are right actually but ProjectH is Syrian and they are being treated differently these days because of their situation,however ,there is definitly a way to make him leave Syria and go to Canada.

There are some ways like applying as a skilled worker if he is one or a provinicial nominiee or apply to join uni in Manitoba or Regina(as they could get a acceptance quicker than the rest of the provinces) or invest if he has the right some of money....etc

Never paid much attention but there were 4or5 people from Europe passed through our place this year with work permits and some of them are just out of school The two girls that just left today are hoping to get jobs in Banf for the winter season.

You must be from ON.

You don't need skills and employers are easy to come by if you avoid BC and anything east of MB. There are massive labour shortages in AB, SK and MB.

10,000 Flips managed find work in SK in the last 4 years and Premier Wall just got back from another recruiting tour through SE Asia after having the Feds raise the Provincial immigration cap.

I agree that there's a massive labour shortage in the provinces that you've mentioned but applying from the Middle East will regardless require the applicant to have certain skills mentioned in the embassy's list.
